Flying under the radar are the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. To me, they are the team we must defeat to return to Atlanta.
We seem to have B. Cookman number for a min.Its been a minute since they have beat A&T. I am more concern about F. A&M they have a senior QB that can give our LBs and DBs fits. I remember year before last they played us for there Homecoming we almost loss that game.
agreed. i know e. bell didn't have one of his best seasons last year due to injury but he should be "1st team" based on his body of work. and how da hail did leslie only make "3rd team"?
oh yeah, should be a few folks stirred up in our locker room and i like it that way!!
OSA you know as well as anybody that football like most Sports at this level is a What have you done lately environment . Body of work only holds true in politics and even then it's iffy . Now Leslie should have been on the first team hands down but I think the two losses hurt Leslie more then Bell . I hope that both are motivated by their slight and prove there worth .
It probably came down to returning qbs as much as anything. Third team for Leslie is ridiculous on its face, but if Raynard was returning (or we had a backup with more passing stats) then Leslie would probably be first team with Ezzard with Bell a close second-teamer. Ezzard's a one man stat machine.
Since it's preseason I'm not concerned over it. If the picks prove to be accurate at the end of the year then I'm VERY concerned.
