I was in no man's land - to the far left of where most of the Aggie faithful were sitting. I saw a couple of our AAF members at the end of the game. We sit at the 50 and there was plenty of room and lot more right after haft-time. I saw DC AAF contingent before the game. They hunting down the Tidewater tailgate.

Is there a bus/plane or travel plan for Aggies going down to Tallahassee?

Is there a bus/plane or travel plan for Aggies going down to Tallahassee? I heard the GSO bus trip was cancelled due to lack of interest. seems to me that they realize how long and grueling a bus ride to tally is. i remember when i was on the track team at a&t back in the day and we had a track meet down at florida state in tallahassee. of course, back in those days i was so young that a long bus ride like that was just a matter of time. but nowadays, ain't no way in hail i'm sitting in a bus for 10 or 12 hours to go see a football game and i suspect that's why interest was low. as an undergrad, i did a summer intern with general motors corporation in saginaw, michigan and i drove there from greensboro. took me about 14 hours including stops to make that drive, but because i was so young, it didn't bother me at all. however nowadays, i refuse to drive anywhere that exceeds 7 hours, that's my max. anything over 7 hours, i'll either fly or simply don't go. only way i'm getting to tally, is to "fly"...

Tallahassee is a very expensive place to fly into. I live here and I rarely fly out of this airport.
Anyone thinking about flying here at this late date should also look at flying into either Panama City (90 miles west of Tallahassee) or Jacksonville (187 miles east of Tallahassee) and renting a car. When I have to travel on my dime, I usually fly out of JAX.

I think it had more to do with GHOE. They routinely make the trip to Tally and Daytona Beach.

The Aggie fan crowd may be smaller because of GHOE but at least the BGMM will make the trip to Tallahassee. Hopefully this will help our team deal with that hostile Rattler crowd.

Well, 6 down 5 to go. I have now been to every MEAC football stadium. This was a tough one though. I had a weather delay out of DC, but a decent cushion in my layover in the ATL. Where I had a mechanical delay and reloaded at a different gate. Still got to Tally before 2pm. As has been noted many times and in many places, the game could have been played Saturday, but I ain't mad at them, all they had to go on is the weather forecast. Better safe than sorry, because areas south of Tally were without power and had significant flooding. Contrary to popular beliefs all FAMUANS aren't like blaw0203. Many engaged me in conversation about A&T, MEAC, etc. success. I had to change the back-end of my flight, even with that I only had a 4 hour window from kick-off to safety get to the airport in enough time. I had no desire to stay in Tally another night. So, I left after N. Ruiz kicked the tying FG. I listened the final events on the car radio. There you have it, the loss can be blamed on me. I can't ever remember leaving a game before it was over even during the Foobs Error. I didn't touch down in DC until 12:35am. I hope to do it again.
On to the Greatest Homecoming On Earth!!! Any meet and greets planned? I'm rolling in on Thursday about noon. I'm gonna walk the yard from top to bottom, I'm gonna go in every building I can get in, I'm gonna eat lunch or dinner in Williams. I might even go out to the Farm.

Seven down and four to go. Another great GHOE weekend. Sat with trues for the 1st half. Gave trues two words to remember for access to the AAF Tent, not once, not twice, three times. All I’m gonna say is SMH. However, he was able to successfully circumvent the system. I saw a post from a poster (who shall remain nameless), I texted, I called, nothing. VA’s Finest got the same result. Please confirm there’s not a need for a wellness check. Ran into Decks after the game walking up to Plot Hill. Though I hate going up there, I was with two classmates that hadn’t been to GHOE IN 30 YEARS, so I endured the trail of tears.
I still haven’t worked the logistics on getting to Orangeburg. Rumor has it that trues and ‘thrilla are going, if so, I would like to bum a ride. I got the gas, maybe the pre-game meal.

Eight(8) down three (3) to go. This was my second trip to Oliver Dawson. The first was the infamous fake punt game. Well, I didn't have a plan for this trip, and it showed. 1072 miles, 57 gallons of premium gas, and 15 hours of me and XM radio got it done. Left the DMV early Saturday morning, in Orangeburg by 10:30, in time for a pre-game nap. Turns out the Brown Derby is not only closed, it's shut-down, like hurricane shut-down. Had to get my pre-game meal at the stadium. Sat with with the Greenboro bus crew and Korey Banks' family members. I talked with some of the regulars I expected to see, captaggie, VA's Finest. Had a quick chat with Darren. I hope he took some pics of the crowd, Aggies showed up. I came down I-95, went back Columbia, Charlotte, Greensboro (stayed overnight), 29 North. I left right after the game, in Greensboro by 8:30, eating at Mac's Speed Shop by 9pm, that's because Boss Hog's wouldn't let me in. Never been to Boss Hog's, just saw it's on the east side, any Aggie reviews? Next week I don't need a plan, DOOMS you in for a pre-game or post-game meal?

Sorry man, parenthood and coaching duties are in the way. Soccer championship week. If you see me at the game it means we lost early.

Nine (9) down, two (2) to go. After going 3-3 on the road this year, I think we've loss our road warrior mojo. Except for the game at Norfolk we've struggled mightily. With two to go, I expect us to push our home steak to 5-0, because now we have to. I also don't expect to see a Morgan like crowd in Aggie (BB&T) Stadium on Saturday, and you know those dirty birds perked their grimy, grubby beaks up after Saturday and will be out in full force the following week. .
