I'm gonna attempt to see every game in person this year. My current personal best is seven. This year I think the stars aligned for a perfect season of trips. ELON - Aug 31, 6:00 PMFirst game of the season, so I gotta be there to see what we got. The 6pm start keeps it from being a down and back though. at Duke - Sep 7, 6:00 PMI haven't been to any of our FBS games, so I need us to win this one. Another 6pm start keeps it from being a down and back two weeks in row. The DC AAF is sponsoring a down and back bus trip, for a $100, but I would have drive a hour and a half to catch the bus, so most likely I'm gonna pass. If interested here's the link: dcaaf.org/ncatvsduke/. Does anybody know where the Aggies will be sitting? at Charleston Southern - Sep 14, 6:00 This is a tough one, wifey adoptive GodParents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this weekend. I told them, but it football season. Luckily it's on Sunday. Fly out of DCA 10am, get to Charleston just before noon, leave Charleston at 7:30 am touch down at DCA at 9:10am, ready to toast the happy couple after another Aggie win seen live and in person. Charleston Southern tickets went on sale today. Delaware State - Sep 26, 7:30 PMI've never been to a Thursday night game at Aggie Stadium. This one will cost another hotel night and a vacation day, but I'm all in. Bye Week 1 - Sep 21Howard at Del State and Morgan is at Army, so football from the couch this Saturday. at Norfolk State - Oct 5, 2:00 PM ETMy brother lives in the area, enough said. Bye Week 2 - OCT 12NSU at Howard for Homecoming, Del State at and Morgan, looks like another football Saturday from the couch. at Florida A&M - Oct 19, 6:00 PMNever been to Bragg Stadium. With FSU at Wake this weekend and a 6pm start, this might be the year. I think I'm gonna use Delta air miles and Marriott points for this, or I might fly into the ATL and ride down with The Boys from Atlanta for the full experience. Howard - Oct 26, 1:00 PM ETGHOE! I don't think I need to address this weekend. at South Carolina State Nov 2, 1:30 PMWith FAMU the week before GHOE and this the week after, I wish there was a bye week before this game. I don't have a plan for this trip is yet, but I have time. at Morgan State - Nov 9 TBAEasiest trip of the year about a hour and 1/2 from the house. I might take the whole family, grand kids too, that will put the cost inline with the other trips. Nawh! Bethune-Cookman - Nov 16, 1:00 PMThe 1pm starts are generally down and back trips, but with 9 weeks on the road, I'm play it by ear. North Carolina Central - Nov 23, 1:00 PMI think I will stay overnight to savior the atmosphere of victory for as long as I can. Celebration Bowl - Dec 21, 12 PMPreviously I went down on a Thursday, but this year it's the weekend before Christmas, Ouch! This is really up in the air.

i'll definitely be at the elon game. luv the night games at aggie stadium, will spend a hotel night in greensboro before heading north the next day.
rarely do i do "back to back" trips to carolina. will have to watch the duke game on the acc network in my "man cave".
not interested in traveling to south carolina unless its either orangeburg or myrtle beach for ccu. hopefully this game will be streamed over the internet, don't expect to make the trip to charleston.
definitely not driving down to greensboro on a thursday night to see dsu when i can watch it on "high-def" tv from the comforts of my "man cave". staying put for this game.
norfolk is a "no brainer" for me. an easy 3 and a half hour commute from my house. will definitely be there for that game but it'll probably be a "down and back" trip for me unless there's a really good after party that i simply can't miss.
would luv to make the trip to famu, but i haven't made plans yet and i believe its famu's homecoming. so its probably too late to find a decent hotel room. otherwise, i'd leave my options open for that one.
ghoe? against howard and "baby cam"? man, i'm already there!!
would luv to make the trip to orangeburg for the scsu game. i was there 2 years ago when both raynard and carter almost had their heads taken off by scsu's darius leonard. i enjoy traveling to orangeburg, good down to earth folks down there. but i think i'll pass this season.
at morgan state? only a 45 minute drive from my house. most definitely will be there.
bcu in aggie stadium? only reason i ain't making that trip is because we play the buzzards in aggie stadium the following week. not trying to make "back to back" trips to carolina. will watch this one on "lock tv".
finally, the buzzards in aggie stadium. november 23rd? probably will be rather "chilly" that time of year. but i wouldn't miss that game for anything in the world. most definitely will be there for the regular season finale.
so it looks like i'll attend 5 of our 11 regular season games in person this year, 3 in aggie stadium and 2 on the road. i'm leaving my options open if we make the cb...

thanks heartless. welp, i just luv my aggies, especially during dr. martin's tenure. but i've always supported aggie athletics ever since i graduated. i'm just glad that nowadays, if i can't attend any game in person, i can usually catch it streamed on the internet or on tv and that's truly a blessing.
so i may not be able to attend every game in person, but usually i can see every game one way or the other...

I will be there for homecoming and will make an emergecy trip if need be for the Duke game; I need to see the Elon game first. Southwest is very customer friendly with their points program so it’s easy to hop a last minute flight out of Dallas Love Field.
I might need someone to pick me up at RDU before the Duke game .....LOL

Brother,Tell me where you going to be sitting Aggie Monster and I want to sit beside you to see the new starting QB debut. Lol You forgot to mention your new GPS system I am sure you have a new version this year!!! LOL Seriously, I am really nervous with ELON!!!! I think to many people are going on the way we beat them in the pass. This is not the same Elon team a lot has change over the years. They not rank in the FCS top 25 for nothing.

I don’t think anybody is looking past them. This is a strong test for the first game of the season.

They not rank in the FCS top 25 for nothing. trues, this is one of those years when i honestly don't know what to expect. the only thing i'm pretty sure of is that elon will be "fired up" to beat us because we've run the table on them in recent years. not to mention the postseason success we've had 3 of the last 4 years. normally, we don't have "14" starters to replace like this year. during all of coach broadway's years, we've never had so many starters to replace and that's why i don't know what to expect this year. but the good news is that i'm encouraged. we have a lot of good talent returning, especially skilled players. i'm just hoping that both lines (offense and defense) can get the job done cuz i have no worries with our skilled guys...
