He said that A&T wanted him before anyone else. I heard that this scenario was a Broadway Philosophical point. Go after players regardless. Just in case they want to leave the big school, they will remember our outreach.

before yall start screaming we have too much, lets not forget that injuries happen in this game. id rather have a reliable next man up than have no one at all. I like the signing Imagine back when Mac went down and we didn't have McNeil.... boy we would have been some hurt souls on the back end of the season. we honestly don't have a reliable receiving back. I think the freshman Backs we have coming in are better than backs 2,3,4 we had this spring. luckily we have 4 games that they can play in to get their feet wet.
also ive been preaching this whole time that our O-line is fine. It is our front 6 on Defense that has me concerned. even then a lot of our Dline coming back got a lot of play but I will say we are going to have to count on some freshmen to play. and that Inside LB from charlotte is a good one and may get in the rotation at LB this year as well.
If the kids work their butts off this summer and spend some time in the film room and on the drawing board. I honestly think we will be in Atl again this year.

i hope ya'll are right about our o-line cuz if so, we're just gonna have to "outscore" muggs this season if our d-line is questionable. of course, when coach broadway was still our coach, we never had to worry about the d-line cuz d-line was coach broadway's specialty. coach washington was a "db", so hopefully his defensive instincts will ensure that our d-line personnel is at least up to par...

That's a bit of a reach if you ask me. Sounds a lot more like he is acknowledging that he probably should have chosen A&T to start with and that we still showed him interest when he put his name into the portal despite his picking ECU over us out of HS. Reading his backstory within the past couple of days, he was pretty much all ready to sign with us back last year but ECU came in at the very last minute and offered him a scholly after one of their DB regulars decided to transfer out. His big eyes (and young ego) suddenly saw a familiar FBS name brand and it got the better of him. Last September 2 in Greenville was his wake-up call.

These kids they talk too much on social media ; my Father always said somethings you keep to yourself good or bad because you never know how people will receive your words . I can see your concern OSA because it is a rare thing to get two transfers from the same school but 5 transfers ( if I'm not mistaken) in the same year makes the Optics kind of funny ..lol. But I feel that coach Washington has his ducks in a row on these players .
