Our defense has always and will always keep us in the running for MEAC titles, as currently constructed. Our question each season is will our offense (specifically QB play) do enough to get us over the hump.

When I think the about offense and QB play, I'm reminded of Quick and guys before him. Quick was an athlete playing QB, we have two solid QBs in our stable, plus good coaching. I'm not worried, if they execute properly, we'll be fine.

Our current defenses stop most anybody (on the ground anyways). Hayes's defense could stop most teams so long as they had melanin. That being typed, the game has changed since Hayes last coached.
It's still absolutely bananas what we did the JSU and EZU to start the season (and what Alcorn did to us to end the season yet still lost).
