We have MEAC Coaches!! Even the Devil has to bear witness to The Truth! And MEAC players too so that's not a winning combination outside of the conference. I'll say this again...it's hard to win OOC if you miss layups and jump shots and your bigs can't jump. We need better talent and coaching.

Bethune lost by 40 points in the NCAA playoffs. We were 16-0 in the MEAC and were at home. Why? Have u not seen our OOC record???

Code Blue our ooc record was horrible. However we lost to a MEAC team in the tournament. This says to me that our team was overated and we are just an average team.
The 40 point loss proves that our entire conference is inferior with bad coaching.

I'm curious. Who actually expected us to win the game?

I'm curious. Who actually expected us to win the game? James Madison was 25-4 and 15-1 in CAA play.... a #1 seed like us. They lost to #9 seed Hofstra in the CAA quarters. It happens. There were basically a better version of us... a defense-first squad that grinds opponents down, but doesn't shoot particularly well. We defended them well. They defended us better at their house. Gotta turn the page and carry lessons learned to next year with the new available talent.

I'm not sure the answers the question. Perhaps stating "(they) were basically a better version of us" is saying you didn't expect us to win.

Sooner or later, I’d like to see us win games we’re not projected to win. That’s when you know your program is in good shape. When I saw JMU had a record of 25-5 and how they swept through the CAA, I thought we were going to be a clearly inferior basketball team.....then I watched the game. There were moments where we colud have seized momentum in that game and used it to our advantage. I just never saw the coach dedicated to grabbing that moment.
In all honesty, it reminded me of the men’s game last vs Liberty in the CIT. It just seemed as if we went up there to play - not win.
Ain’t nobody undefeated in women’s basketball. I get that completely. I just want to see a coach/team do everything possible to get a win....didn’t see that the other night vs JMU. In postseason tournaments, you gotta leave the impression you did everything possible to win. With me, that impression wasn’t left vs JMU. That’s why I have some consternation about next year. We’re supposed to LOADED next year....correct? I bet no one would take a friendly wager that this team will be .500 or sub-.500 vs OOC DI competition before conference play rolls around.... If you want to take this wager, holla back at me....I’m gonna leave it at this. THE TIME IS NOW. No more excuses about difficulties winning in November or March of a given year. There’s simply too much talent we have coming back next year to damn near have double digit losses heading into December. No more losing to the JCSUs of the world. No more struggling to beat the Winston’s of the world.
Coach Rob deserves a lot of credit for building this program...moving forward, he has to move forward and get better as a motivator and tactician. He’s gotta take that next step as a coach to make us NCAA good, not just MEAC good.

TEACHING!!!! We need to teach the game, which includes decision making, recognizing strengths and weaknesses of teammates, and working hard on fundamentals. The paint people or bigs need to learn how to use their body mass as a weapon, and the other side of the rim to prevent defenders from easily blocking shots. Too many shots are missed right at the basket. Work on drop step moves, up and unders, and how to shoot short hook shots. If you are not a good three point shooter, perfect a mid-range jump shot that can be shot off the dribble as well as floaters. Hustle does not mean anything, if you don't have the necessary solid game fundamentals. Recognizing a player's weaknesses and working everyday (including summer) on them is what makes good to great players. A&T's game stats really tell the story of why they perform poorly against ooc teams with relatively good but not great talent. Big improvements in their overall stats, with the right players would send A&T to another level. In fact, this would help the whole conference.
Personally, I don't rely on player recruitment information about how good a player is. I like to assess the talent with my own eyes in the game.

Next year we will be better REALLY ! We weren't we supposed to be better this year going into the season ? Look being better next Year is just a big IF to me and I do not do if's . A&T has to recruit better and coach Rob has to find some way to become more vocal and aggressive in his coaching . Look players tend to emulate their coaches if their coaches are aggressive the players most of the time will adapt that same attitude .

REALLY? Just because we have a couple of transfers playing next year don't mean jack if they are not coached properly.

Is the ooc schedule even out yet?
If not, I'd wait before prognosticating. There's also the issue of consistently disappearing players to consider.
