I really haven't been too critical of the coach this year...... For this game tonight, Coach Rob should have been applying full-court pressure on this team. This game was never out of reach, but he coached it like it was.

Don't know.....Coach Rob has gotta do better OOC. I don't like the way he handles affairs out of conference. This was a winnable game. Ain't nothing special about JNU. He's gotta do better out of conference. His growth as a coach and the growth of our program is dependent upon it.

Next year should be special....but I gotta be honest; I'm really concerned Coach Rob is gonna drive a Porsche like a 65 VW Beetle in 2020. I'm not trying to be negative. I'm being straight up honest on this one. Coach Rob has got to improve. The women's program truly has the potential to reach DI depths our other high-profile sports can't reach.....but he's becoming the clear rate-limiting factor to our success. I'm pulling for him to improve.....

Coach Rob is a low-energy coach. For whatever reason, he doesn't have the ability to stand on his feet and impact his team's play for 4 straight quarters.
It just seems he appears content to sit back and allow his team to go on long scoring droughts without making significant adjustments.
This was a very winnable game at the start of the second half.

The man has never been an Animated coach that is just his coaching Style and he is not going to change anytime soon . I would like to see more interaction or emotion on his part towards the players but he is who he is and his way is his way . It is not like we have not had this conversation about him before . Hale NHSS and The Professor have been adamant about his lack of emotion in games so this is not new . It is what it is .

We are who we are an above average MEAC team. We have an above average MEAC coach.
We will always be above average and not superior under Coach Robinson.

I've never said anything about needing emotion in a coach. I need preparation and adjustments. He didn't give our team a chance to succeed. JMU had problems with our pressure defense....but coach never stuck with it to knock the lead down. He never tried to switch the tempo of the game. He didn't encourage the team to force the action.
Sometimes, I just wonder if he loses OOC games to keep expectations down. There's MEAC good - there's NCAA good. I'm really starting to wonder if all he wants to be is MEAC good. I hate to say this because he's a fellow Aggie. But man, I just wonder if he has the passion/desire/inner drive to want to take this program to greater heights....and I take zero pleasure in saying that. I'm really starting to worry about this.

Let’s be honest this is a offensively challenged team. Significant improvements will come with the two transfers next year.

Careful, you will be considered a hater or non-supporter of the ladies. I attended all of their home games and was not surprised by their loss in the tournament. I pointed out that a loss was expected, because even though they were a veteran team, their game after game stats were horrendous. There was no growth or improvement in their development. Most fans seemed to be satisfied with winning conference games against poor teams. That appears to be the coach Eaves syndrome of acceptance of mediocrity, These players need to be coached up. They deserve it.

I can't evaluate the coaching but the player talent was mediocre. They missed tons of layups, couldn't hit a jump shot and our bigs were slow and couldn't jump. That lack of skills may win in the lowly MEAC but not OOC. Our defense was our strength and our offense was our weakness.

Well according to VAs Finest, we won the MEAC regular season title so there's absolutely nothing to be disappointed about.

Bethune lost by 40 points in the NCAA playoffs. We were 16-0 in the MEAC and were at home.
Why?
