NCCU's students didn't really travel, either, even though they're still in school. The A&T adults held it down, though. BIG TIME!!!! Folks who haven't shown up for a game this year came out to witness the best game of the year for the men. The Aggie community came to have a good time and enjoy a great game. I have said it before, and I'll say it again, Gantz is the best player on the team. He understands the game. Gantz was magic last night. That was a great way to close out his Corbett career, and he sensed it. I'm gonna miss that dude.

....not trying to jinx things up, but I really felt good about BOTH TEAMS last night. There is really a legit chance we can come back from Norfolk with both trophies. Last night was really the first time where I really felt this was a legitimate possibility.
Congrats to both teams last night.
In the men's game, we took Central's heart....haven't seen that in basketball vs the birds in 20+ years. We've beaten them before, but we figuratively took their hearts out of their chests last night.....and stomped on them!

We could potentially see them in the tournament. Can we do it a third time on both sides?

Howard is Norfolk's Achilles Heel. If Howard can make it to the Semis against Norfolk, there's a huge chance we can win the whole tournament on the Men's side.
On the Women's side, only UMES can stay within 20 points of our Lady Aggies.

Watch out for Coppin State against us. They match up pretty well with us.

I think Howard will get to the finals if there Coach don't mess it up. They have the best 1-2 punch in the MEAC

we can't take "anybody" for granted. its win or go home! we have to bring our "a" game every night!! and that goes for both our men and our women...

Aggies finish strong, clobber rival N.C. Central in regular-season finale By Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com N.C. A&T seniors Milik Gantz (left) and Amari Hamilton celebrate during the second half of Thursday's 74-52 victory over N.C. Central. Hamilton sank four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 19 points, while Gantz scored 10 of his 12 points during a 19-5 scoring run late in the second half. H. Scott Hoffmann /News & Record
GREENSBORO — In college basketball, particularly in one-bid leagues, everyone wants to peak in March, saving their best for last. Just like N.C. A&T. Senior guard Amari Hamilton scored 19 points off the bench, and point guard Kam Langley matched a career-high with 17 points to lead the Aggies to a 74-52 victory over archrival N.C. Central at the Corbett Sports Center on Thursday night. Senior guards Milik Gantz and Qua Copeland added 12 points apiece for A&T (18-12, 13-3 MEAC), which played perhaps its best game of the season in its home finale to complete a two-game sweep of Central (15-15, 10-6). “When you can play like this in March, that’s huge,” A&T coach Jay Joyner said. “You’re going into postseason play, and to close out like this in your last game of the regular season is huge. It gives all these young men the confidence that’s required during March Madness.” The Aggies will be the No. 2 seed at the MEAC Tournament next week at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va.
