I'd rather have the statement speak for itself honestly bro. My brother, if you can't provide some examples, your statement is just an opinion. I really want to know why you believe what you believe what you posted. Not trying to be confrontational! We'll let's just take it for opinion sake and move forward

Yes indeed, the addition of their new events center and a Marriott Branded hotel is going to be great for them. At some point, A&T is gonna need to seriously consider the addition of a hotel and conference center. We are about to enter the Big South and one of our future peers (High Point) is already building one. In addition to them a number of other schools such as NC State, Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Elon, and Charlotte either have, built, or plan to have a hotel/conference center. If we do decide to invest in one, smart money would be to get it affiliated with one of the major Hotel brands (Marriott/Hilton/Hyatt/IHG) and have it ran by a management company instead of an independent ran by the university itself

Basically Stadium upgrades are good ideas. We should think in terms of a hotel/conference center with a parking deck attached in addition to an indoor facility for track with a banked type track including area for indoor football practice. I was at the classic auto show/auction and observed the structure which I notice such a type could be built for football and band. I think we do need to think realistically about upgrades.

I know Charlotte is an FBS school but... UNC CHARLOTTE MARRIOTT HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER OFFICIALLY OPENSWednesday, March 31, 2021 UNC Charlotte Marriott Hotel & Conference Center officially opened its doors, March 31, 2021. The $87 million, 173,000-square-foot project is owned by the UNC Charlotte Endowment Fund, financed by the UNC Charlotte Foundation and operated by Sage Hotel Management, a Sage Hospitality Group company. Developed by AMS Hospitality, the hotel features 226 guest rooms and 21,563 square feet of event space. “This conference center and hotel is a 30-year dream realized for UNC Charlotte and another example of the University’s growth and commitment to playing a significant role in the region’s economy,” said Niles Sorensen, president of the UNC Charlotte Foundation and vice chancellor for University Advancement. “The location right at the entrance of our beautiful campus and a short light rail ride from uptown Charlotte is perfect for alumni, families, business travelers, groups and conventions and visitors who desire the superior accommodations, service and amenities only Marriott can provide.” For the rest of the story: inside.uncc.edu/news-features/2021-03-31/unc-charlotte-marriott-hotel-conference-center-officially-opens

really wouldn't bother me if they "scrapped" this project and spent the money on something that's more valuable for the players like an indoor practice facility. but a few more sky suites and football offices don't seem to benefit the players at all...

I think that if they moved all of the Football Operations, Team spaces (locker room, weights, etc) to the new building, that would be great. Also they can reconfigure the stadium seating to create a tunnel entrance for the players in the endzone and devote the Bryan center to Track and Field operations...this is all Hypothetical fantasy thoughts here, so take it with a grain of salt lol
