I would give the class a B++/A-. I would want to see two more 3 star players at OL, DL, or S in any combination to give an A+.

One of the finest defensive linemen ever to put on the blue and gold was 5-10 and 250 pound nose guard Akinyele Igunmuyiwanamed, formerly known as Ernest Riddick, played back in the mid 80's earning three consecutive (1984-86) first-team All-MEAC honors. In 1986 he was Sheraton Black College All-American and an NCAA Division I-AA All-American. Trues, go watch the tape on Ward and you will quickly see why we signed him. He is a beast of a run stopper, extremely quick off the ball, and what my daddy used to call " country cock strong" - plus coming out of Tarboro where all they do is put out top D-1 talent and win state championships every year.
He played with my Dad who was also on the defensive line and he was also first team All-Meac honors on that 1986 championship team with Alan Hooker and Herb Harbison and honorable mention All-American

I still prefer tall fast slender in the interior. Looking at his video he is fast I would make him a ILB. WSSU do not even have DL under six feet. 90 Yaakima Bell DL Jr. 6-3 235 Nickaleus Felder DL Fr. (rs) 6-2 290 Charlotte, N.C. / Z.B. Vance High 92 Tharon Ingram DL So. (rs) 6-2 250 Charlotte, NC / Lenoir-Rhyne 91 Trae' Jackson DL So. (rs) 6-3 265 Spring Lake, NC / Overhills 98 Karron Jeter DL So 6-3 240 Winston-Salem, NC / Mount Tabor 97 Gearl Majors DL Sr. 6-3 285 Oxford, N.C. / J.F. Webb High 79 Brian Manuel DL So. (rs) 6-4 295 Kinston, NC / St. John College 93 Darrick McLean DL Fr. 6-2 265 Asheboro, N.C. / Asheboro High 95 Malik Moore DL Jr. 6-2 320 Wilmington, N.C. / Hoggard High 58 Eric Peartree DL So. WSSU has a lot of different variables! We are a much better academic institution.

Plus the fact they ain't winning diddly in the CIAA. I dont know they may beat NCCU next year. LOL But that is my only concern the rest of the players are ok. I still think we need a good transfer DL to add dept and Hooker would be nice.

Not only that, but dont put much into the listed heights on rosters and media guides. When those guys get off the bus you sometimes wonder if the right team showed up because nobody is over 6' tall.

Yeah. We listed Tarik at 5'8" originally.
I'd wait to grade the class until a few years down the road personally. These cats have to a) show up to school, b) stay out of trouble, c) go to class and pass, d) do something on the field, and e) do it for several years before I could grade.
