Would you say this class has already earned an A+ just from what we know thus far ... or do you think we still need to bring in some additional recruits to put us over the top?
What, in your opinion, is our biggest remaining need(s)?

Are you guys talking about JUCO/FBS transfers or HS recruits?
Do you want an immediate contributor at those positions ... or are you willing to wait a year or two?

Are you guys talking about JUCO/FBS transfers or HS recruits? Do you want an immediate contributor at those positions ... or are you willing to wait a year or two? Transfer edge rusher for me. We have younger edge rushers in the pipeline already. The jury is out on whether they will be able to impact the game in 2019 the way that Bam & Blue did in their main rotation spots over the last 2 seasons. The caveat... talented edge rushers are a different breed. Transfers in this category usually come with significant baggage. Buyer beware.

A class that provides dependable depth along both the offensive and defensive lines. That and intelligent QB play will determine the outcome of 90% of all college football games played.

If we end up getting Prestige Edwards to sign, I am completely satisfied with our crop of skill players this recruiting period. Even if Hooker doesn't come. To me, the two RBs alone give this class a B grade.
However, I still need an instant contributor at D-end, nose tackle and inside linebacker for this class to be an A plus.

I think you have too many guys already at DT and ILB to recruit another player there. You already have Tyquan Johnson and Jacob Roberts in this class., in addition to redshirts coming clean for the spring. It comes back to DE.

I dont expect Johnson or Roberts to crack the depth chart in 2019. We need a quick fix to keep this train running.

I watched him play in the SCSU game. I think we need more help.

I watched him play in the SCSU game. I think we need more help. The best thing about freshman... they become sophomores. That and the issues he had in the CB are great experience lessons. I wouldn't trade that. Kyin will learn more from that than the good plays.

I hope you are right. My concerns are his quick-twitch muscles.
I dont know how game experience can improve that.
