Keep hope alive; I guess we can live off that. I’ll keep my thoughts to myself.

Our second halves in both Florida games have been disastrous...minus 14 points in Tallahassee and minus 20 points tonight in Daytona Beach! Gotta get back on-track this weekend.

Keep hope alive; I guess we can live off that. I’ll keep my thoughts to myself. You're free to comment on whatever you want. If there is something you thought coach/team didn't do right tonight, feel free to elaborate. I just didn't think he deserved to get ridiculed on Saturday after just his first conference loss. Now this is 2 straight losses. If you see something he's doing wrong, state what you see. From my vantage point, Harris and Copeland have been bad. We can maybe afford for 1 of them to be off - but when both are off, it's a recipe for disaster. One thing I think the coach needs to do is get these guys easy baskets. Instead of having them fire (and miss) from behind the 3-point line, design plays to get them layups or easy 2-point buckets. I think the goal would get larger if they just saw more shots going in. I also think the coach has to convince these 2 that there are other ways they can contribute to team success outside of just making shots. Getting rebounds, getting assists, getting steals, fighting for loose balls, etc. It's been a brutal last few days - hopefully Corbett success will erase all ills.....

No real excuse but I think our guys were affected by BCU gym with no backdrop. Those gyms with a stage as backdrop have an effect on your depth perception

its difficult to win "on the road", period. and like durham said, when you win 6 in a row and were undefeated in meac play, coaches "game plan" against you more precisely than if we were 0-6. its "always" harder to stay on the top than it is to get to the top.
just ask famu in football. once they got to the top, everybody placed a "bulls eye" on their backs. hence, they "struggled" the rest of the way rather than "fly under the radar" as they did to get to the top...

It ain't much to game plan for if 2 of your top players ain't hitting their shots. Ain't any special defenses being played on Copeland or Harris. These dudes are just shooting bricks....If anything, the opposing team's game plan is to let them shoot until they prove they can hit something. No elaborate game plan has been necessary for them dudes to have faltered the way they have over these past handful of games. Neither BCU nor FAMU ran a box-and-1 or triangle-and-2 on them to shut them down. The just ain't making shots. I'm hoping they can get their grooves back - they're desperately needed for the home stretch...

But, think about it, there isn't much separation in the talent pool between A&T and the rest of the conference. It's a matter of who is going to show up in the leadership role and help execute the game plan to near perfection. Challenge the other team on defense and offense.
