I must admit, I like his candor and honesty. That said, WE need to be ready in March because, from that video, they will!

everybody be "praising" moton as the meac's best head basketball coach and "probably" justifiably so. but coach joyner so far has a 5-2 record against moton. so coach joyner apparently has moton's number. here's coach joyner record against moton;
2-0 (2016) 1-1 (2017) 1-1 (2018) 1-0 (2019)
also, after watching moton's video, why does he "look down" so much? usually when a person "looks down" a lot instead of giving the camera direct eye contact, it "implies" a lack of confidence on moton's part. or, it could also be a sign of "shame" or "embarrassment".
nonetheless, he's now 2-5 against coach joyner and he clearly threw his players under the bus. to tell the truth, i don't think we give coach joyner enough credit for his record against the buzzards since becoming our head coach...

He is ashamed & embarrassed because he's the highest paid coach in the MEAC! He tried to reflect and blame his players for not playing well, but not giving any credit to us for our defensive efforts. He also tried to say that his big man should've gone to the line more for fouls that were committed by us. But that goes both ways!

And on the flip-side of the pancake...I dare say A&T didn't have their best game of the year either. But again, I can appreciate his candor and honesty, he's probably using the interview as motivation for his team. So, it would definitely be foolish to count them buzzards out. But, I get it, we do own bragging rights, right now!

Davis was straight garbage for most of the game. He was missing point blank shots. He wasn't getting hacked at all. Central just had a bad game.....it wasn't as if we played our best game either. However, I thought we were more composed throughout. Like he said, some teams don't play well when the bright lights are on.....however when you lose 5 out of 7 games to your archrival, that's gonna start to claw in you. Joyner even beat him when we were on the verge of losing 30 games 2 years ago. Sometimes, cats just have your number.....right now Joyner owns him, and you know that's gotta sting. The way things have been going, Moton has a better chance of being Coach K than Coach J

He probably is looking down at the postgame stat sheet. That is how he is able to mention all those exact numbers.

The way things have been going, Moton has a better chance of being Coach K than Coach J Davis was missing his normal short-range shots... was shooting 67% from the field coming in. The reason? Nweke & Jackson were doing a good job of absorbing the contact that Davis initiated and contesting without fouling. Of course, RJ sent one attempt into somebody's lap on the sideline... but Davis going 6-13 from the field was no accident. The bigger issue is that NCCU isn't a very good perimeter shooting team this year. That's nothing new. It was just magnified on Saturday. Big credit also to Associate HC Will Jones for a great defensive scout & game plan.

He probably is looking down at the postgame stat sheet. That is how he is able to mention all those exact numbers. yeah, i think at times he was actually looking at the stat sheet. but c'mon, thrilla. he's looking down about 80% of the time in that video, he can't be looking at the stat sheet 80% of the time. me personally, i think losing to us in front of a full house at home is embarrassing to him, especially since they probably felt they should beat us in durham. you know doggone well there's only 2 games on moton's regular season schedule that he considers "must win" games and those 2 games are against a&t. central is the defending meac tournament champs, they've won 3 out of the last 5 meac tournament championships, if my memory serves me correctly. they're expected to beat us in durham but again, moton came up short "in durham" no less. so yeah, he probably was looking down at the stat sheet at times. but i find it hard to believe he was looking at the stat sheet the entire time he was looking down. reminds me a lot of former bcu football coach brian jenkins when we "upset" bcu a year after coming off of a 1-10 record. it was coach broadway's first year as our coach and "nobody" expected us to beat bcu, especially as bad as we did. jenkins was the same way on his bcu coach's tv show, never looked up at the camera and said almost "nothing" about losing to us. well, at least moton had enuf balls not to deny who he loss to, unlike jenkins...
