I don’t think he’s ran yet from what I have seen on TV he wasn’t in the first group they ran. The Edge Rush group is on now. Bam was DL43. They've skipped from DL42 to DL44 on the 40 and on each drill. I think he may have tweaked something on the first 40 attempt. They listed the attempt on TV for a sec, but didn't post it on the site. I’m almost positive that he’s not in this first group because it’s a lot of other guys with no times.

The first group that worked out was DTs at 9 am The second group (currently working out) is edge rushers where Bam is supposed to be. The third group to close the workout is LB. DJ is DL43. He was seen on the field in his warmup gear, but not in the drills. And there's only one edge rusher group. Clelin Ferrell from Clemson didn't run his 40, but participated in the drills. They announced that a couple of other players from larger schools tweaked injuries and wouldn't drill. And like I said earlier... they briefly listed a 5.15 40 time for DJ on TV on the side of the screen, but didn't announce it or post-it on the site during the edge-rusher 40s. Maybe he's switching numbers to work out with the LBs, but I doubt it if he registered as a DL. I just hope he didn't get hurt.

Terrible day for DJ in regards to his draft stock.
Even if he suffered a minor injury it tells scouts that he might have put on weight too fast while preparing for the combine and it negatively affected him. 250 pounds might be too much for his frame and soft tissue muscles to handle right now.
I hope there is a plausible explanation for what happened.

I had the combine on especially to see him. Anyone have any inside information on what the deal is???

The player from SCSU that went to the Steelers a year or so ago was registered as a DT he also did the LB's work out .

This is unfortunate, it puts more pressure on him to perform during his pro-day. I'm confident he'll do well!

OverviewHigh-cut, long-limbed edge rusher whose production in his final year does not appear to be translatable to the next level without much more work. Johnson is a Groundhog Day pass-rusher who shows tackles the exact same rush patch and tactics snap after snap. He needs to diversify his rush, get his hands involved earlier and add more muscle on his frame to improve his pro chances. His lack of lower-body flexibility might be tough to overcome, but he does have intriguing length and a frame that should get bigger with time. Strengths- Long-limbed frame set to take on more muscle
- Massive wingspan
- Known as a voracious worker in the off-season
- Durable, high energy performer
- Tackle-for-loss production has been strong throughout
- Takes aggressive inside shots that find penetration
- Has experience standing and with hand in the ground
- Uses shoulder dip and upper-body turn to sneak around tackles
- Adequate closing burst to quarterback
- Has some man- and zone-coverage background on his tape
- Good lateral foot quickness on swims inside
Weaknesses- Plays with tightness in lower body
- Minimum knee bend and flexibility at the top of his rush
- Can be pushed upright and off-track by average punch
- Pass rush is always the same and lacks go-to counter
- High-cut and lacks play strength in his base
- Below-average contact balance
- Needs to use his length and hands more effectively
- Manhandled by strength when setting edge
- Performed against lower level of competition

Judging from the articles I've seen, somebody's gonna draft him and put some weight and strength on him. The only question is how high they'll jump for a "project" who basically projects to be a sure thing within a year or two.

That article makes it sounds like he just opted out of performing at the combine because he'd rather work out at his pro day. I can't imagine that being a good idea.
