A few years ago, I remember this board debating whether we are a national or regional brand (with Howard, Grambling, FAMU, Spelhouse, Hampton, and Tuskegee being the benchmarks)? Have we crossed that line?
My vote: Yes.

Definitely. We are now considered America's HBCU.

Pre CB era: Regional Brand 4 years into the CB era: National Brand
The CB exposure has changed everything in that regard.... and the Tarik Cohen factor in conjunction with that.
The Jax St win on ESPNU and the Kent St/Charlotte/ECU wins just help even more.

Durham, you know how Jim Harbaugh had satellite spring workouts all over the country a few years back so that Michigan could expand its recruiting footprint?
Well, is there anyway A&T could do something similar, either with our football program and/or the BGMM?
I know for a fact if A&T had any activities in Texas or California there would be a lot people in that area who would interested. We should seriously consider going on a barnstorming tour across the country to see if we can export Aggie Pride.
Do you think something like that is feasible?

Trying to go Bingo Long Travelling All-Stars with Blue Death Football, huh? As always.. the issue is that we don't have Michigan money. That typed, NCCU DID do a scrimmage in Charlotte. I think we'd have to have a convo about possibly doing a scrimmage in Charlotte, ATL or the Tidewater Area in the spring. I say ATL because even though the CB is there, there are no D1 HBCUs there to keep the focus of the high schoolers. Caylin Newton came from College Park. That's an untapped MEAC goldmine, IMO.

That's a great idea to hold a scrimmage in ATL. I'm sure there are plenty more Darryl Johnsons out there trying to get an opportunity that are being looked over by the big boys!
