Funny story, these two older ladies were walking down the steps in the aisle where I was sitting. They both had on Malik Wilson shirts with his picture on it. Just as they got to the bottom of the stairs where we were sitting, Malik broke the touchdown that gave us back the momentum, and ultimately proved to be the game winning touchdown. As we were all jumping up and down celebrating, I asked them how they knew Malik, and it turned out to be both of his grandmothers. I hugged both of their necks and thanked them for sending their grandson our way. Malik has been an awesome player for A&T and like so many of these kids in the senior class, we owe them a big THANK YOU. ?

We were definitely blessed to become apart of A&T! From the first time he stepped on campus he felt home. #AggiesForLyfe

Someone at the hotel ask my this morning if A&T was about to go downhill. I gave him a look and said they young but going to be just as great. Especially since it looks like we will have a solid backup to Carter now from ECU. We just have to become more mature about those dumb taunting penalties. They definitely cost us this year in those 2 losses. He played in 91 for A&T. SMH.

Bad Call Wasn't Alcorn's Demise in Celebration BowlDissecting North Carolina A&T's Celebration Bowl 24-22 Victory Over Alcorn State

It wasn't the bad call.
The Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl has a history of being great games with climactic endings. No team has won by more than seven, the average point differential is now at four and a quarter and the game has ALWAYS come down to the last drive.
With that said, players, coaches and fans alike should understand that every second in this bowl game should be important.
I refuse to subscribe to the notion that one play can cause a team to lose a game, regardless of how controversial. Insert the failed two-point conversion in the fourth quarter for Alcorn State...
