Complete BS!! How does Howard get so many first teamers? They didn’t have a winning season ANDtheir coach is leaving. Most critically is Newton being selected as first team QB. No way Raynard is not the best QB in the meac even with a subpar season by his own standard.

Their offense was completely explosive but defense was in the gutter....I guess the voters awarded their offense!

I can understand the QB and wideouts but, all those O-linemen? That's questionable...the only reason I'd say we shouldn't have 2-3 offensive linemen on the 1st team is we rotated the line throughout the season. But, it's clear looking at our game against Central, our offensive line has come together. The way they blew Central off the ball, they basically made Central defense tap out.

they announce that next week, but i dont see who else could have gotten in but Johnson.
I think cartwright should get OPOY. i dont think EZZARD deserves it off of a 4 win team. but they probly will give it too him

Newton had 313 total yards per game. Raynard had 176. Newton passed for 100 more yards per game than Raynard.
Ezzard had more receiving yards than Cartwright had rushing yards, and Ezzard led the conference in scoring.
Too bad for them they were on a team with the worst defense and time of possession in the conference.

Gents we played two good games all year...ECU and Central, it took a collapse from FAMU to get the conference title, our record speaks more of something else... We played junkyard football, and 1 half most games. MEAC coaches were not impressed with us this year as they were last year. We looked lucky not talented! A high scoring offense happens because of offensive TEAM domination that starts with the OL.

Winning two "big" games against opponents you're not "supposed" to beat and finishing 8 and 2 and Conference Champs with a bowl opportunity (ugly or not) is a damn fine record for a new head coach and offensive coordinator. Hey we stumbled and fumbled through this year but we "survived and advanced" and that's all you can ask of a football team. Sure it wasn't "undefeated" quality but next season we will be better. But wait, what's better than 8 and 2, big time wins and conference champs? Well we will have to wait and see!

You short changed us a victory, we are actually 9-2 and could win our 10th game at the Celebration Bowl. This would be only the 4th 10 WIN SEASON IN SCHOOL HISTORYMEAC Coach of the Year MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Year MEAC Defensive Player of the Year #1 Ranked Rush Defense in the Nation #2 Ranked Total Defense in the Nation That aint all luck

Going in, I felt that we were supposed to win against ECU and JSU, going against Southern or Alcorn we will not win playing 1 half of football. THANK GOD FOR OUR DEFENSE!

Like coach said we were 6 seconds away from having a undefeated season up until this point. I will not call this season "luck". Them boys are bad (in a good way) We've had the grace and privilege of watching the schools best running back and Quarterback play here since 2013 (Arguably best Offensive lineman and Wide receiver too). This was coach Wash first season as a head coach. I can assure you he has learned a lot and will only get better from here.
I still think Lamar should have been first team. In conference play he played lights out and as down as you all say he played he still only threw 5 ints.
You cannot throw 17 INTs and expect to win games as much as you want to blame it on the defense.
I say all of this to say. Aggie Pride. Congrats on another successful season!
