Now that is what I'm talking about! That's the team we've been waiting to see. It's good to see the team peak at the end. Congratulations to Coach Washington and these young men who made a statement today.
Aggie Football is strong as ever.. we still stand heads and shoulders above the rest of the conference. We still are a top 10 program. We have the best FCS program in NC. We don't need the playoffs to prove that.
See y'all in Atlanta!

Now they need to Stay Hungry and keep that aggressive Edge on both sides of the ball . kudos to Rraynard for coming back and performing at a top-level after the concussion . This was his best game of the season hands down . Also a shout out to the O & D lineman , DB's , LB and the kickers along with Coach Washington and staff . The real Aiggies decided to show up today and it was a beautiful thing to see .

AGGIES vs ALCORN round 2 AGGIE PRIDE I want Southern. I also, but the numbers don’t look good for them. Did they kill theChampionship game this years? If they have one Southern has. a chance if not ALCORN has one conference lose and head to head advantage

[/i quote] They did not kill the game but i did read where they moved the game from neutral site Birmingham to the home field of the higher seed of the two. Hopefully this will help w attendance of the Cb if it happens to be Southern so they won't have to travel as much over the next month.

Shoot, I was put in a situation where I couldn’t watch or listen to the game today, but I plan on never letting that happen again. Congrats to the team and staff for taking care of business. The Eagles, I hate to say it is one team I do not like... But more so than that we’ve had big highs, but not so low lows, meaning the lows didn’t stop us from getting the chance to reach our goals. Thumbs UP to BCU.

SWAC East champ Alcorn State will host the SWAC Championship Game in two weeks vs. the winner of Grambling/Southern (Bayou Classic-to decide the SWAC West) in Lorman, MS. Originally scheduled at Legion Field in Birmingham, it was moved to the host school with the best record due to a potential conflict with UAB football.

A&T shuts out rival N.C. Central, wins outright MEAC championship By Jeff Mills jeff.mills@greensboro.com 13 hrs ago
DURHAM — The next game is on a Saturday at noon, Dec. 15, in Atlanta.
That’s when No. 13/12 N.C. A&T, the outright champion of the MEAC, will play the SWAC champion in the fourth annual Celebration Bowl, kicking off the bowl season on ABC. A&T got there by clobbering its archrival Saturday afternoon, shutting out N.C. Central 45-0 at standing-room-only O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium in the Aggies’ regular-season finale. It was their best game of the year. “We came into the game saying, ‘It’s time for us to put it all together,’” A&T coach Sam Washington said. “We have not realized our potential. Still. I think we’re even better than we played today. … But the continuity was there. The focus has been there the entire week. They didn’t look back.” For the rest of the story: www.greensboro.com/sports/ncat/a-t-shuts-out-rival-n-c-central-wins-outright/article_80e6accb-0048-5f93-994b-910361e90bee.html

A fitting celebration as Aggies learn their Celebration Bowl fate By Brant Wilkerson-New bwilkerson-new@greensboro.com 13 hrs ago
DURHAM — Sam Washington didn’t want to hear a word about what was happening in Orlando. “They were trying to tell me on the field, but I wouldn’t accept it,” Washington said. “I said, ‘No, shut up, don’t do that.’” That had been the message to his N.C. A&T football team all week, and even with a big lead over N.C. Central, Washington wasn’t quite ready to let his mind wander to what was happening in the Florida Classic, as the Aggies’ postseason fate hinged on whether Bethune-Cookman could knock off Florida A&M. “We felt what was ours to be, would happen,” he said. “What we had to do was come in and take care of this situation and we’re in postseason play, whether it be in the bowl game or the playoffs.” That changed at 5:04 p.m. though, when the Aggies finished off their 45-0 victory over the Eagles and made their way through fans and tailgates on their way back to the visitor’s locker room in the Walker building. By that time, everyone in blue and gold knew that BCU was hanging on to a 26-19 lead with just over five minutes remaining. They stared down at phones as they shuffled through family members as others shouted out score updates. This was real classy... No wonder we beat them like they stole something. Say what you want, but that Eagle mascot is hilarious. Now the other part where the team is telling the crowd what to chant, that was tasteless. The team won The band won The Aggie baby won the 10-yard crawl. We won every thing down in East Durham yesterday. There's no way the birds faithful left that stadium yesterday feeling anything other than inferior. That was a 60-minute ambush. WOW!!!
