What do they call plays like that in the Pros against qbs? If it's Cam Newton - it's called a sack. If it's Tom Brady - it's called roughing the passer.

Raynard was seen walking around at the UNCG game last night.
I flunked out of medical school, but my guess is that he will get cleared to play this weekend.
I dont see how you can be deep in the concussion protocol and still attend a sporting event with brights lights and loud music.

I just have a gut feel whether he clears or not that Carter will start the SSU game and Raynard may be emergency or 2nd string QB. I think they gone put him on the shelf for this game and run a heavy dose of that downstream option with Carter. The option was very effective with RAYNARD against NSU and Carter is built to run the option.

Coach will take him out. Of course all of this is predicated if the doc. clears him first. We talk about carter we really need to be getting Fowler some game experience. Weather he become our starter or our legit backup he need some game experience this year.

Get that score up to 35-7 and then let Fowler finish out the 4th quarter.

Raynard not playing. We are going to be just fine with Carter.
Side note: our 3rd string qb this year is better than our 3rd string qb form 16. and that is taking nothing away from Bamiro.

Whomever plays (although I think it's Carter) I hope this game is more than over by start of the 4th and Fowler can gets some real minutes.

Yeah, cause we do that so often Man y'all know this game probably gone go into the fourth quarter and we'll probably be lucky to win. SSU ain't scared of us at all. We've shown zero tendency (or ability) to jump on anybody early and often. I just hope Raynard's ok from a standpoint of health. Not concerned about whether he plays or not at this point. That hit and how he looked afterwards was kinda scary.

WCA the hit was llegal was it not ? Raynard shouldand could have thrown the ball away to avoid the contract . It was not the fault of the defender he was just doing his job . Also why was he throwing in the first place with the running game klicking why pass . This is not flag football . You don’t need to body slam a player as you have their arms pinned, preventing them from bracing for contact with the ground. Like it or not, it’s hits like that they get people’s brains jacked and dealing with CTE-related symptoms later in life. I’m not defending the Barnette playcall btw. I just don’t want to see any one’s QB get body slammed head first into the turf by a 260 pound defensive lineman. i see your point wca, but as long as body slamming is a "legal" play, can't blame the defense for doing it. ain't nobody out there trying to have sympathy on nobody. to me, i didn't see that as "unnecessary roughness". the whole idea of playing defense is to "physically punish" the opposing player anyway you see fit as long as its "legal"...

we play "slightly" better on the road against meac teams than we do at home. so far, we've only had 2 meac road games. against dsu, i still say we didn't play that well considering how dsu moved the ball on us. but at least we pulled away late in the game.
and against bcu, that might have been our best meac road game all season. probably because we'd just loss to famu in our previous game, so our backs were against the wall when we played bcu...
