Cam is the key to our success this year. He has the potential to lead the league and be one of the tops in the nation in both assists and steals. If he can do this, we'll be a good team. His floor generalship has to be at B+/A- levels for this team to remotely be successful this year. I think he's up for the task....the rest of the team will follow if he shows he's up to the task.

Will Cam be a key to success absolutely; however I am not sure he is the only key. This team has 3 5th year seniors that never wore and Aggie Jersey plus 2 experienced JUCOs so I don’t think Cam has to carry that load. I am excited to see how Terry Davis plays he was very high recruit coming out high school. I read and article that said he started varsity in the 8th grade.
This team resembles NCCU’s squad from a few years back were Morton brought in a few old head ballers with a year of egibility left .
I am excited to see how they play.

Kam Langley will be a big key, but so will Aaren Edmead. And they're not the only ones. Other players to watch: *Andre Jackson, G, 6-3 - Junior Tyrone Lyons, F, 6-6 - Freshman *Ibrahim Sylla, C, 6-8 - Grad Terry Harris, F, 6-6 - Grad The good news is that EVERYONE on the roster is good enough to play a role at some point this year. But we're likely going to be as good as the guys listed early on.... especially the two I starred. You'll see what I'm talking come Tuesday night.

For this first game, we need to box-and-one Francis Alonso. Our chances of victory go up immensely if he's contained. We cannot allow this dude to get hot. I remember him as a freshman, when G came to Corbett. We won, but ole dude had 25 points against us.....as a freshman. He's gonna want to show out to make amends for 2015....
Is there campus buzz with the game tomorrow? I know it was announced at the game this weekend, but are students dialed in to this game being tomorrow night?

Getting anybody's attention after homecoming weekend is always going to be a problem but maybe the mystic of Club Corbett will get folks out tomorrow night. I plan to be there just to see for myself what the team looks like.

Kam, Hamilton and Edmead will have to lead this team. We should be accustom to playing with jucos and tranfers by now, because that was Cy's and now Joyner's (MO) Modus Operandi since arriving on campus. Most were failures until last year's team. Hopefully, Joyner has gotten it right by now. Hopefully, he can start building the program by recruiting more freshmen as his foundation with a little help from the transfers, and then establish his program with feeder players coming out of high school.

UNCG is already projected as a 13-seed according to ESPN Bracketology.
This would be a huge win if we get it and we need it. Without it, we can be winless for the Month of November.

Joyner said he has enough talent to win some games before conference play. He said they need to gel but he will also need to Coach them right.
If Gantz and Joyner are on the same page Gantz could average 20 a game.

Ed Hardin: Aggies, Spartans ready for opening game and a series to follow By Ed Hardin, Greensboro News-Record Sports ed.hardin@greensboro.com November 6, 2018
UNCG will make short trip on Tuesday to open the basketball season at A&T, hoping the first game of what will be four-year series will renew a rivalry and maybe even spark something bigger for Greensboro.
Both programs are coming off successful seasons, and this series had been talked about for some time. Logistics, location and timing were needed, but ultimately it’s happening because the two coaches wanted it to happen.
Maybe one more than the other.
Earl Hilton, the A&T athletics director, said the coaches came to the ADs, then and Hilton and UNCG AD Kim Record took it from there. A lot of talking ensued.
“It’s a four-year deal, home and home twice,” Hilton said...

Tickets: $9 adults, $4 youth, general admission
Is this correct? Are these the new ticket prices, or have they always been this price?

Tickets: $9 adults, $4 youth, general admission Is this correct? Are these the new ticket prices, or have they always been this price? Same as last year. Reserve tickets are $16. The NCCU game was the only game that was higher at $25 for general admission.
