The only D2 school we should play is Winston, for the gate. We are past the Shaw and VUL stage of our program. Totally agree.

whew. CSU's stadium seats 4,000. but its 10 minutes from me soooo, win Well looks like our fans and Blue and Gold Marching Machine will have to tighten up to fit in the stands! With our fans and all the SC State fans that will show up, we'll take over that little stadium. Lol

Y’all are funny...we play whoever is on the schedule...the only D2 school we should play is WSSU? What ?? A tune up game is just that, a tune up game. Now I would prefer we play a weak FCS school as a tune up for the points we would get for any possible CB tie breaker. I’m not so full of myself that now I’m turning my nose up at other teams or schools that I know we had on the schedule just a short time ago. Play who’s on the schedule and win as we attempt to position ourselves for the conference championship and continued trips to the CB.

If there aint no 5th quarter involved, the Machine wont travel.

You are right, but we (the AD) controls the schedule and there is no benefit in playing a D2(tiebreaker points or competitively) unless it’s Winston and we have a close to capacity crowd at BB&T. Garner Webb was a tuneup game and next year Charleston Southern will be it. Put your Big Boy Pants On! 😃

I wouldn't count CSU a tune-up game just yet. I love the schedule BTW! We win all 3 games OOC next year, we'll be back in the driver's seat for another MEAC title.

The earliest we could play WSSU in 2019 is Week 3. they ain't coming to aggie stadium without a return visit from us. that's why we haven't played them since '08, or whatever the last year was that we played them. and i'm sure they don't want no parts of us now given the success we've had in recent years. gone are the days that the lambs were "bragging" that we were scurd to play them... Things change OSA.......I highly doubt it now that WSSU would have the gall to put themselves on equal footing as us and expect some type of home-and-home matchup. I honestly believe they'd be more than happy with a paycheck from us to come and play at Aggie Stadium. Things are just different now than what they were 10-15 years ago.....primarily due to the growth/higher profile of our university and our football team. With all of that said, I'm not as enamored with playing Winston as I used to be. When you beat Charlotte, ECU, App St and Jacksonville St, beating Winston just doesn't do much for me.

Charleston Southern's football field.......there are high school football stadiums in the Low Country that are more accommodating than Buccaneer Field. It is extremely underwhelming. You'd think we were playing at VU-Lynchburg. That stadium cannot hold Aggie faithful, let alone the marching band. CSU would need to know in advance that they have to bring in many more bleachers...

No to D2 games. There's no value in it. I like playing a challenging schedule. If FAMU had beaten BCU we would have easily made the playoffs because of wins over ECU and JSU. Lol, I remember when a lot of folks on this board complained about Broadway scheduling the likes of Shaw, St Aug, VUL, Chowan and WV State. Now we want D2's back on the schedule?

If A&T is going to play a D2 program make it a top level D2 someone like VU , Bowie state university, Tuskegee , Morehouse . Someone that can generate Revenue . If they can not help feel the Stadium why play them at all .
