I can. Howard still hasn't played any defense yet. Delaware St. doesn't really tell you anything because they're so young. That will be a shootout. But Howard is at home. They slowed down Morgan State in the 4th quarter. To be honest, MSU fumbled at the goaline and then the weather changed. I knew that once the wind kicked up, MSU wouldn’t be able to beat Howard...plus MSU’s receivers started dropping passes like crazy. I’m not looking past MSU, but we should have the advantage considering they don’t throw the ball super well and it may rain next weekend. Howard, on the other hand, their defense could be their downfall. Simmons is gonna come out very aggressive against them.

FAMU has a defense, Howard don’t.
“Holding” Morgan to 26 and giving up over 250 on the ground to Del State kinda proves that.
As far as the second half goes I assume Washington told Barnette to sit on the ball. We’ve already lost one game like that. We’re far enough in the season that Washington should let his assistants do their jobs with minimal interference from him.

Any info on RAYNARD or McCain. I think if RAYNARD had not gone out he would a 400 yards passing game or cloes to it.

Everyone I've talked to over the past few weeks, I've tried to have them keep this season in perspective with that our defense is actually a championship caliber defense.
We have two losses by a combined foir points, giving up 16 and 22 points.
Most college coaches even ours, if you told them "your going to give up about 19 points this week." Most would probably think they would win by at least 10 points.
My point being in this age of football where offenses are helped by way games are officiated, if your defense gives up 16 points you have to expect to win.
Dont know of anyone else noticed but offensively a lot of similar calls made by OC just like last weeks game, major difference was the execution on the field. Every OC even the good ones haslv some questionable calls but ultimately the play is made on the field.
Give all these guys a break they are doing the best they can and giving 100% on the field that's all we can ask. Sometimes the football just doesnt bounce your way.
Let's have safe and productive off week and prepare for what should be an exciting stretch run starting with GHOE.

Cold weather could be a factor in DC against FAMU. I don't know if FAMU has a running game

Del State ran for over 250 yards on Howard. Famu could sneeze their way to 200 on them without trying.

Cold weather could be a factor in DC against FAMU. I don't know if FAMU has a running game They have what you would call a comfortable running game, not that is eye pooping but not to be over looked . Also Cold weather for FAMU is not that much of a problem because it gets cold in the panhandle not severe cold but Cold Enough .

However, I don't consider them a better team than A&T. A&T seems to have internal problems that only they can solve.

Cold weather could be a factor in DC against FAMU. I don't know if FAMU has a running game We have a running game...A&T simply has the best run defense in the MEAC, giving up only 82 ypg. In the 2nd half of the game against you all, we figured out how to get it going a little bit, but we knew that running against A&T would be a chore...that’s why we had Stanley throw the ball over 50 times. FAMU is averaging 143.6 ypg on the ground...and we’re not really a ground and pound type of team. On the flip side, Howard is giving up 227 YPG on the ground.

So you don’t think FAMU would put up points against one of worst defenses in the league? I did not say that. I think it will be a close game, but I am considering the other factors. Looks like I was right. Greene is tricky and Howard loves playing spoiler.
