I actually think differently than most of you. I blame the players more than the coaches. We dropped 4int's. The coaches had the kids in the rite positions they didn't execute. Same can be said about the drops on offense. The staff has been preaching about penalties all year but I players don't seem to get it. We have no player leadership on this team. These players never had to struggle like the group did when Brodway was first here. Point blank they are spoiled. And y'aalls boy #5 on defense missed more tackles today than he made.[/q So we can't blame the coaches so I guess we have to blame the players? Unfortunately only the coaches can fix the problems with the players. We can spend a lot of time pointing fingers at the players but bottom line if this poor performance continues some coach needs to find other employment!

The team and the coaches had 1 goal this season prove they could beat Jacksonville State and ECU, after they won those 2 games they were like season over we proved ourselves the way have done during conference play has shown that.

How did this coaching staff and players beat one the nation's top FCS teams and a well funded FBS teams...doesn't matter now. Because this team has demonstrated it can't consistently beat teams in the conference. Even teams with less talent. Who would have predicted after the ECU game that before mid-season we would be wondering if we would win another conference game.

I never said that you couldn't blame the coaches. Coaches don't drop passes and miss tackles. The coaches don't fumble the ball either. I blame the Morgan St loss on them more than this one.

With all our talent we only had 14 first down this game, oh wait that's how many we usually get win or lose.
We lost both games on a fg, meanwhile we miss everything that's not an extra point. I think the pressure of this reality shows itself more than most think.
On the bright side: Jumbotron worked today...and Elon got smashed by Delaware...can't have them getting too big for their britches.

Look at some point as a coach you have to enfuse new life in to your teams leadership ( not at the coaches level ) but on the players level , they need leadership on the field someone has to step up and lead ,QB ,RB , WR , DB , LB someone and if you have to change players out so be it . We had that with The Kid and then we had Parker . My opinion with this team is there is no leadership on the field on either side of the ball . There is no reason that so many tackles should have been missed by a team with this many Veterans on D and so many mistakes on the O especially from you QB forcing throws to covered receivers and so on . This is why I say it's not just on the coaches but the players to .

FAMU is going to lose twice(Howard and Bethune). We will still be in the running. On a side note our punter had another great day

They can cause problems on offense, but they can’t stop anybody...NCCU, who we just destroyed, just put 40 on the Bison. And FAMU is simply tired of losing to Cookman...plus the Wildcats aren’t as strong this season. And if you think they are better than us, then you may not be leaving Daytona with a victory.

Coach Simmons outcoached Washington. Simmons found a way to open up that A&T defense in the 2nd half. He found a way to get some sort of rushing attack going. A&T has the D-line we’ve faced. Simmons figured out how to get some positive runs in the 2nd half. I think we had 0 rushing yards late in the 2nd quarter.
Once Simmons figured out how to break that A&T defnese, and Stanley figured out how to attack those DBs,we started moving the ball a little easier. I don’t even think we punted in the 2nd half.
FAMU also kept A&T from running the ball effectively...once we made A&T one dimensional on offense, keeping you off the scoreboard became fairly easy. Yes A&T made mistakes, but FAMU came out focused on the 2nd half and executed where A&T couldn’t.
Also, in regards to penalties, I told you guys during the Jax St. game that those unsportsmanlike conduct penalties would come back to bite you...and it did today. Go back and look at the game...A&T’s players had something to say after every play. Surprisingly, there were times where our players didn’t respond...and everybody knows about FAMU’s problem with penalties this season. Washington has an undisciplined team...and that’s something you wouldn’t have seen under Broadway.

Washington and his coaching staff has the rest of the season to prove that these two losses were a fluke. I know he could care less about what I think but if he doesn't turn this around soon more fans are going to start asking questions.
Aggies have enjoyed winning these past few years and will not except losing easily. And if losing happens too frequently they will quickly stop showing up for games.

On a different note Leroy hill can’t catch a cold but naked in Alaska. Is he the best TE we have?

Our DB had chances in the games to make picks and couldn't do it.
