We use to have a goto play last year whenever we needed a 1st down that seem to have gone away since we have a new offensive C. What play are you referring to? I dont remember one specific play that we called on third down last year. Was it a pass or running play? It was always a solid pass to caper or E. Bell mainly on a end route. I remember in the NCCU game E. bell caught that one handed pass that was on a third and long.

They also carried themselves well...I dont recall either ever getting a unsportsmanlike like penalty nor do I remember either having a false start.

The real thing we are missing this year is a Offensive Coordinator with a imagination. Last year we had Chip Hester, in the championship game he made up the play were Cartwright went over the middle for the first TD, and keep calling that that play.

I've been looking for that play all year, what happened to it, did Barnett take it out of the Playbook?

It never was in the Playbook, it was made up. He's gone now,so it never made the The Playbook, Cartwright told me it was made up.

Obviously, the play had to have a name and blocking scheme attached to it or you wouldn't be able to get 11 people to execute it at the same time.

Listen, you can draw all of the plays you want, but if your O-line cannot get a hat on a hat then we would have struggled with Hester this year also. We lost multiple seniors off of the line last year. Offense & Defense is won in the trenches not in the booth.

On that Play all you have say is hitting Cartwright over the middle lol. I wish it was that easy. And if it was, Barnette and company could just say the same thing right now. I loved Hester too, but he isn't the only person on the planet who can design a delayed pass to the running back.

On that Play all you have say is hitting Cartwright over the middle On that play the TE cleared your safety from The Middle of the field that is why Cartwright was able to be open . Last year we used the TE as a weapon but this year crickets from the tight end even when he is on the field and open in the middle he is looked off by Raynard damn just get the ball to the open man , it is not like we are throwing deep vertical routes anyways .

I second that, and move the offensive line when the run game is shutdown using RPO's and PAPS. H...l we had The slot throw a pass to the QB, last year, lately we have quit and run the backuip QB in to run into the wall that was stopping our all world running back. There has to be some chicken salad made with that chicken.
