(Jan. 19, 2018) - For the first time since being included among ranked schools, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University has ranked in the top 2 percent internationally for university sustainability by Universitas Indonesia’s GreenMetric Ranking of World Universities. In 2016, N.C. A&T ranked in the third percentile. The growth showcases the university’s commitment to the importance of sustainability. “Various university units are collaborating to shape global higher education and research in sustainability, working together on solutions on sustainability challenges and creating new leaders in sustainability,” said Dr. Godfrey Uzochukwu, founding director, Interdisciplinary Waste Management Institute. “N.C A&T will continue to make improvements in the six main categories of university sustainability — setting and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste management, water, transportation and education." It's clear that A&T is committed to lessening its impact on the environment with LEED certified buildings and the like. I think that it would be awesome if A&T invested in more into their recycling program by installing systems like the ones other campuses have implemented like OZZI and Water Bottle refilling stations. In 2014, Duke University saved 400,000 water bottles by installing refilling stations on their campusHere is a video that I came across from Vox that features these products:

It's quite a nice touch.
