It's time to ask this question again to see if we've learned anything in the nearly two years since this thread was started. The thing that I've seen that I didn't anticipate is the impact of the transfer portal. Our coaches are learning how to be selective and get players that help us for a few years. I also hope we are able to land a "breakthrough" recruit in the next few years that drops the jaws of the football world. Also, I looked over on the SWAC page and they were commenting on the physical conditioning of our linemen vs the "fat" linemen in the SWAC. Mattes and Coard will continue to improve the talent. Our next immediate step is to be successful next year with the challenging OOC schedule, repeat as CB Champions and finish Top Five in FCS Polls. Carter proved what a difference it makes when your QB is throwing dimes. The challenge is to develop a QB that can do that every game. If we can, next year is the year of the buzzsaw. What’s the name of the swac board?

Now, it's time for Alumni to step up to the plate and encourage others to join the AAF and to increase our donations overall.
In the Atlanta Aggie group chat, there are young alumni encouraged to join to AAF and begin donating to Athletics. That's essentially a snowball effect that will benefit the school long-term.

What’s the name of the swac board? I noticed the guts on the SWAC linemen as well as the coaches (Alcorn and Southern) and I concluded their team didn't have a dietitian. Lol

Basically we've got to get athletes to be competitive outside the conference primarily in order to be dominant within the conference. During the off season conditioning and strength development must be priorities as well including mental development. In observing the physiques of Alcorn we do not or should not look like that. I noticed that as the game progressed they were wearing down due to their conditioning or the lack thereof. If we do and continue to do chicken we will be successful.

I finally figured out why I get so frustrated when we are talking about the stadium grass and other athletic department improvements.

Conditioning is a major component of A&T's program. They start in December or January and work through the summer.

As far as hanging championship banners, I know SCSU has them on the facade of the stadium press box. It doesn't look tacky to me.....and that's saying something when it comes to our brethren from O'burg (snicker).....

I dont think we have the surface area available on our current press box to adequately display banners.
The new BB&T and Act 1 signage take up all the room right now.
