All-Americans: A&T's Brandon Parker makes first team, Khris Gardin on third team Staff Reports 5 hrs ago
GREENSBORO — Two A&T football players have plenty to celebration on Celebration Bowl week. Offensive left tackle Brandon Parker has earned first-team All-America honors in the Football Championship Subdivision. Parker, a three-time MEAC offensive lineman of the year, has not missed a start and has not allowed a sack in his four seasons. And teammate and punt returner Khris Gardin picked up a spot on the third team. mccain is amazing! due to his early season pick 6's, folks stopped throwing his way. otherwise, i think he would've had even more int's. wow, 2 years ago when i watched his high school videos, i didn't see a 3rd team all american on the horizon. especially not as a redshirt freshman. while indeed mccain deserves all the credit in the world, its also high time that we recognize the outstanding job our coaches do to "develop" the talent that we have. kudos to our aggie all americans and kudos to the coaches who developed them! somebody is doing something the right way in aggieland...
