Probably did...just to think he would have sat on Ole Miss bench and wasted away That is a great point, and something I've often wondered about... I sometimes feel that some of these guys look down on us and other universities like us, and miss an opportunity that will showcase them and could get them where they want to go. Speaking of breakout games, look like nearly every game for 2 seasons has been a breakout game for E. Bell. That cat is a major defensive issue for ever body we play, no matter how they label their corners...

I think a kicking camp and maybe a redshirt year would help Ruiz. Considering he made 9-12 field goals going in he can kick the dang thing. Like the announcers said he just has to work on his trajectory. I think working with the long snapper and holder more would help as well.

I don't know who had a breakout game yesterday but I can tell you who didn't...Noel Ruiz, our place kicker! I knew he was struggling but man, yesterday that struggle got national TV coverage. I watched the replay of the game last night and ABC kept showing Noel on the sideline and making comments about the pressure being on him. I thought about how this young kid would have to live with this if he was asked to make the final field goal. Sometimes it's easy to forget these players are just kids! After being under that much pressure, I don't know if he'll be back next year. Anybody know if Cody Jones has a brother that can kick field goals? You underestimate our youngsters. This is what they want. He'll be back.... and better. The real breakout star was Mac. I didn't believe he could break out anymore. But he did. Marquell Cartwright as well. Side note: DeVante Kincade might have just gotten himself drafted. Seriously... that was an amazing performance by him. He's impressive
