I wonder how much Grambling will blitz and how we will handle it when they do. Could lead to a big night passing for Raynard

Is it me or does Jay Walker always talk down A&T as if we are less than SWAC, at the end of the game he was playing up the star power of Grambling and stating that we have to prove that we are more than just Tarik Cohen. He interviews Newton and has yet to interview are talk about Raynard. He talked up BCU, FAMU and Central this season when other announcers talked about us and our ranking, he wanted to talk about bands te HBCU classics and SWAC home conings. Hey give Jay a break...other than than his one big victory back in the day, he and Howard have had to live in A&T's shadow. Be honest, if you were in his position, would you go out of your way to promote NCCU? Hail naw! As the old folks say..."Bless his heart, he can't help himself." I don't care what Jay says, we'll do all our talking on the field on December 16. And after we smoke Grambling, we'll even let him jump on the bandwagon for a brief ride around the stadium.

I saw old #7 at the Central game. I had the pleasure of meeting his daughter who was wearing an Aggie sweatshirt. I said, “Jay what’s up with that?” His only comment was, “I think I got a Hail Mary in me, but it ain’t looking good.” She has already been accepted to A&T and didn’t seem to be concern about a Hail Mary. The next best thing to an Aggie, is the parent of an Aggie.

I've never noticed negativity towards Aggies when it comes to Jay, and the impression that I've received from his remarks has caused me to label him a wannabe Aggie. He does ride that one touchdown horse as much as needs to kiss his ego, but not much more than that.

Same here Other than the TD I've never heard the negativity others speak of as it pertains to his commentary about A&T. He's actually been pretty complimentary of Aggie Football and the job Broadway and his staff have done over the years.

He’s never been negative towards A&T except when we merited it (poor play). He’s literally the most Aggie non-Aggie I’ve ever known. If you think otherwise you’re seeing things that simply aren’t there.
His story is he signed with Long Beach State when they cancelled football. He went juco then he had two years of eligibility remaining and wanted to major in political science. He figured he might as well go to DC if he was going to be a politician. Howard needed a qb. The rest is two years of Howard history.
From hearing him talk about Ayantee I believe he had never known about it until arriving at Howard and fell in love with Ayantee to the point he would send his daughter there. There have been a number of Aggies who have seen him at A&T games cheering for the Aggies.
Saying he has anything against A&T is at best extremely uninformed. I’ll leave the criticism at that so maybe we can get back to the actual spirit of the thread.

For the record, I'm hoping for an Aggie victory and know that my heart will always pump blue and gold. I am also the AD liaison for football for the SWAC and that means that I will be spending the majority of my time on the other side. So let's leave no doubt as to where my heart is, but unfortunately I must follow my paycheck. Peace!!

I guess a 11-0 team gets no respect, it just gives our guys some extra something to get them going.
