N.C. A&T Student Named Frederick Douglas Global Fellow; Will Study in South Africa
GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 13, 2017) - Joshua Blackwell, a sophomore Industrial and Systems Engineering student at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, was named Thursday as one of 10 students chosen nationally for the Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship (FDGF) Program. The program is part of a three-year strategic partnership between the Council on International Educational Exchange and the Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions. It is designed to break down the barriers of cost, curriculum and culture and to provide study abroad opportunities to students from minority serving institutions.
