Jamari Smith is listed as a RB rather than a WR.... hmmmm....
Is Jamari enrolled for the spring? I suspect so....
I'm not sure... I'll find out tonight. I know Marshall is in grad school already.
But if Smith pans out as an all-purpose RB, that gives us a well-rounded backfield combined with a power guy (Marquell Cartwright), a big back (Savion Johnson) and a scat back (Amos Williams).
Coach Broadway confirmed something I have been thinking for a while, academically they can only recruit certain kinds of students. Academic standards for the school and all the campus atmosphere make it tough for borderline students to succeed. Not throwing shade on some of our other MEAC institutions but their academic requirements aren't as high as ours. I looked at the dirty birds recruiting class and it is littered with great players however I wonder how strong they are academically. If they are borderline students they would be out of A&T rather quickly.
