I was talking this over with my wife a few days ago and she made a point that attendance and ticket sales for next season should go up because its a more attractive home slate. She has a point when you look at who should be coming into Greensboro this fall and being a fairly attractive home slate of games with all except one game being in the much warmer weeks and months:
Labor Day Opener TBA Hampton Norfolk FAMU (Homecoming) SCSU
Of course the MEAC could very well derail the logical schedule as they have before with substitute dates and changes.

First off, give your wife a big Aggie hug for being a die hard! Who we play next season is just 1/2 of the equation. We've got to ratchet up how we promote every game. The very minute that the schedule is confirmed, I would be on social media hyping the games. And I would post something on social media every week about our team, our players, our opponents, the Celebration Bowl experience, the game day experience, promotional information and parking and tailgating details.
Die hard Aggies like you and your wife are already thinking about the 2016 season. We need to start today getting the casual A&T football thinking about next year. The more information we can provide about the season the better.

I'm flattered that you think my approach might be of value. Having ideas about promoting games is much easier than getting anybody at A&T to listen to them. People on the staff resent outside folks butting into their jobs. Over the years I've learned that some A&T organizations want alumni help and some don't. I spend my time, money and energy working with those that are open to help.

Sometimes you have to put it in the clouds and let it rain down, let others think that its their idea (even when you are on staff), but I understand and have experienced that.

The two FBS games on the schedule puts us behind the eight ball from the jump. I hope this is a one time thing.

This is why Broadway is trigger happy we have to win out to return to the Celebration bowl, Im sure other MEAC, AD's and Coaches have noted this, Although I believe we can beat Kent State.

I don't know what the hell I am doing. This. I felt like if the OL was ready, we could gave been competitive with UNC this year. And they ended up being a top-15 school. If the OL picks up where it left off in the fall...we have a real good shot of knocking off Kent St., IMO....then we'll be ahead of the curve on the CB tiebreaker. We will really struggle to return to the Celebration Bowl again this year. Is it possible that we could go undefeated in the MEAC and still not be the champions? Boy those two FBS game could be a good payday but could cost us another trip to the Celebration Bowl. On the bright side, the revenue from these two games may offset the potential loss of the Celebration Bowl revenue. Now if we can promote the hell out of the rest of our home games and increase that revenue, we will be okay.

Hey Maxwell, I'm just asking if we can go undefeated in the MEAC and lose the championship. This funky meac scheduling process is confusing as heck. But if you think we will be "outright " champion I can live with that. Not doubting the team's capabilities just the weird selection process.

The game before homecoming(Norfolk) is the one that you have to promote hard. Its always tough to get people through the gates the game before homecoming.

Where would we put the OOC FCS game that we need to win in the event of a tiebreaker?
