I got back to Raleigh late last night, and I'm still on my CB high. I can't find enough news, pics, and videos of the event. I had a great time in ATL after the game HBCU fans were everywhere. Aggies were greeting each other in restaurants, hotels, and on the streets.
It was all Aggie love man, as it should be.
This morning I had a co worker (younger white guy) greet me on the way to the breakroom. I was wearing some office appropriate Aggie gear.
He said "I saw you guys won a bowl" this weekend, that was big...go Aggies"

I'm in the middle of watching the game again and it's still exciting. I watched it on TV Saturday but I was too nervous to really enjoy it. Now that I know we won I can watch it over and over again.
Thanks to all the players that over the past four years helped rebuild our proud football program. Thanks to the coaching staff for putting in the work to make us better and special thanks to our AD for keeping everything on track.

I was at work on Saturday so I didn't see the game but I did get the instant espn notifications & video highlights everytime there was a score. That was pretty cool.

I just hope they can sustain it and even place more inergy into the next five. I wore my Aggie gear all weekend and experienced all of the 'Aggie Love' thoughout my time in Atlanta. I stopped by the outlet in Commerce, GA on the way home Sunday & saw plenty of Aggie-clad fans. It was a good experience for me so I know it had to be a good experience for our student-athletes, coaches and students. #GoAggies

it is now “official”! i was in atlanta for the last two times we played scsu in the atlanta classic and needless to say, we loss both games and didn’t look very good in doing so. but this time i stayed home in the warm comforts of my man cave and watched the cb on tv. needless to say, we won the game and looked like the best thing since sliced bread in doing so! so it is now “official”! oleschool must stay away from atlanta whenever a&t plays there! when i was there, we loss twice! when i wasn’t there, we won “convincingly”! i’m officially the “a&t atlanta” jinx...

I've talked with a couple of NCCU fans and they feel a bit snake bit. A few years ago their band played in the Rose Parade. Very few folks saw it because they cut to a commercial when they marched by. The A&T Blue and Gold Marching Machine kicks off the Macy Parade and gets major tv coverage. This year on the same Saturday NCCU plays Duke and we play UNC and all anyone is talking about is A&Ts bands historic halftime show. So they beat us in the final game, become Co champions and think they've ruined our season. We go to the Celebration Bowl and play a fantastic game on national TV. Once again the Aggies come out on top.

There was a Eagle fan sitting in front of us during the game, this guy did everything but beg for us to give attention to him over over game, it became sickening and desperate.

I don't know if anyone but the Eagle fans remember that game.

There's only one thing NCCU fans need to learn when it comes to them always trying to upstage us and it's this:
"If you ain't the lead dog, the view never changes!"
AGGIE PRIDE!!!

Yeah, those birds are a bit burned by our success. I was at the dealership on Monday getting an oil change and an eagle approached me and we discuss the game and what it meant to HBCUs. It was good man, and A&T shined like a star...he was older than me and said he waned the Turkey day classic to come back.
We don't get the coverage I'd like in Greensboro, but those birds have Duke across town, UNC around the corner, NC STATE up the street. Having us out shine them is too much to take...and they are coming for us.
I also heard it from SCSU fans because they feel they should have been in the CB as well. I can only imagine BCU fans want some too...the upcoming season is going to be brutal.
I think the money and exposure that can be had from a game like this is going to force everyone to step up.
You got to get through a tough conference schedule...only to face the SWAC champ who will be no pushover. They got pride too and hate to lose to MEAC teams.
I was in ATL for the game and man those SWAC fans are cocky. Not in an off putting way, but they truly believe SWAC football is superior...and they support it with their numbers. Maybe it's regional, or historical, but those guys thought they were going to mop the floor with A&T.
The shock and disbelief was also part of what made it so special...it was if only the Aggies and other MEAC fans thought we had a chance...even though recent history of MEAC vs SWAC games proves otherwise.
