He didn't pull any punches in regards to why the change was made at offensive coordinator.

What'd he say? Won't play on my 'puter. Basically he uttered what he's been saying for a while. We need to get the ball into our play makers hands. He thought last year we became stagnant and too predictable at times. This year he wants the offense to be more creative instead of one dimensional. Personally I partly think this has something to do with the direction we are going with our QB. With all do respect Quick is a winner and great with his feet, but I remember in that Elon game I was saying to myself we could rout this team if he would just hit the receivers in the numbers. That in turn made us stagnant and resulted in 3 and outs until Tarik broke that big one.

Said that he thought they became predictable last year and needed to be more creative. He doesn't want 31 carries by Tarik in one game. 31 touches maybe, but not 31 handoffs. He also spoke highly of Raynard.

Also sounds our defense is stout....reaching the SC State level of physicality with the Broadway touch! 9 starters returning on defense is going to be huge at least early on.....

Where have you been man? LOL But yeah, his first instinct is to pass but he can get out and run if he needs to. When he does, he has to know when to slide or get the heck out of bounds. He has to "protect his neck!"

Plenty of people that observed practice the last 2 years have told me Raynard has wheels.

back in the day, i played with and against dudes who were "sneaky fast". these are guys who don't look like they're running fast, but actually are. often times these are "tall" guys who take long strides and unlike small guys like cohen, their legs don't move as fast. so it "appears" as if they're not moving very fast, but next thing you know you're looking at his name on the back of his jersey...

That's good to know but, we don't want him making a living running the ball, only when necessary. Get that ball to the receivers...they just need to make catch wwhen it comes there way.
