(1) Will "ALL "AGGIE" Home Football Games be available on Lock TV?
(2) Have the Announcer's for "AGGIE FOOTBALL been determined?
Haven't seen any announcements as of Yet?  I am hoping so.................and another Revenue Maker!  I will not be in attendance at the 1st Home Game against "da BEARS"  but will be in Chapel Hill!  but I am hoping LOCK TV will be available. Has a decision been made regarding THE PLAY by PLAY ANNOUNCER'S?  AGGIE PRIDE!

Just yesterday, I was wondering the same thing about the announcers. I figured that I just hadn't heard the announcement.

The Aggies’ radio home has changed from FM to AM this year, and WPET-950 will air the broadcast. Donal Ware is listed as the play-by-play voice, replacing Spencer Gwynn, who retired at the end of last seasonnews-record.com linkWTH?? What is going on with WNAA? This is a major downgrade.

Donald Ware is a professional broadcaster by trade and WPET is a commercial station. That being the case, it means when means you now have to sell commercials time to pay for it. WNAA is a non profit public university radio station operating on donations and Spencer did it for 50 years without compensation.

Yep AM radio is horrible everyway after dark so you will have to listen through the web for night games if you are outside of Greensboro. I would prefer to see our night and late afternoon games broadcast on any of those FM stations that they own.

I've been a part of that fight down here while at FAMU, and WQMG or WJMH would have worked well for Aggie games. So......who can I talk to about working on the website, keeping information updated? Or is that an "on-site" job only. I could use the experience on my resume.

Man, we definitely need help with all our online information...website and social media. When I find A&T sports information I try to share it with Aggies through social media but we need someone that has this as their responsibility to do.
As for being on site, if you get the access codes from the A&T Athletic Department, you can make changes from your local Starbucks!

On a side note , the video screen has been replaced . The graphics are much improved ,it's like going from watching an old style analog tv to watching in 1080 high definition . The only issue is they had to take off the Aggie paws on the side to make the change and they have not put them back on .I hope they can get this done by Saturday .

The only issue is they had to take off the Aggie paws on the side to make the change and they have not put them back on .I hope they can get this done by Saturday . lawd!! i'm praying that they'll put the aggie paws back on the scoreboard!! to me, that was the best thing about aggie stadium that no other hbcu in the country had. it definitely imposed the "intimidation factor", especially at night. matter of fact, i haven't even seen any pwc's with anything similar to the aggie bulldawg paws that wrapped around our scoreboard. i know the high def screen looks a lot better than the standard screen, but i rather have the standard screen if it means getting rid of the aggie paws in order to have the high def screen...  |
