Thanks guys for sharing the link to the Southern band link. I'll bring up this idea at the band booster meeting. I'm not sure but we may run into one difference...typically the University limits campus groups from running separate fundraising events. I'm not saying this will happen but it might. There's often a fear that too many organizations will solicit the same contributors. But it's worth asking. I'll keep you posted. And thanks again for the suggestions.

Yeah, same field, but over the years, it has deteriorated significantly. Hey, let's talk about how we can do this... humanjukebox5thquarter.com/

So where is the "donate now" link on the booster website? I'm sorry but as of today, you cannot make an online donation to the Band Boosters. I know that's crazy...don't know why. I'll ask at the next Band Booster meeting. In the meantime, how about stroking a check and sending it by snail mail. It's a little more work but the band kids and Boosters will appreciate it. Lol, I probably haven't written a check in almost 2 years. In fact, I doubt if I have any. I'll still get a donation out shortly. Glad you will take the suggestions back to the Booster Club.

Seems very straightforward and intuitive. There are certain university guidelines that we must follow when it comes to both web hosting and fundraising, but I think that if the right person were to see this, they might (hopefully) wonder why we can't do something like it or better.

A&T's 2015 Band Camp ended today with the annual Alumni Band cookout and "move in day" for all freshmen. It was great to see all the young eager faces wandering around on campus and to meet with the new band members. We cooked hamburgers, hotdogs, French fries, pasta salad and even dropped some fried fish. The kids loved it and we loved to talked to them about loyalty and true Aggie Pride. Now it's starting to feel like football season.
