I'm liking our non-conference scheduling starting with this year and the next two years. One FBS, 1 cupcake, and one FCS school. It's keeping a good balance regardless of the Bowl game or not. Cant really ask for more than that.

well, we're finally starting to line up those "money games" that we've been missing out on due to our previous apr status. over the years, the rest of the meac has been bringing in a ton of money from these money games while we had to sit by and just watch. in terms of "funding", that put us at a big disadvantage in the meac. but now, we're 'bout to get paid!!
the only thing i don't like about these money games is that we're very likely to lose the game and i don't like that "L" being on our record. but aside from that, as long as we don't embarrass ourselves, i'm very much in favor of playing these games. we'll make way more money off of these games than we would playing wssu in aggie stadium. and i'm glad we're not going "overboard" with these money games like ssu has, looks like we'll only be playing one money game per season and that's perfectly fine with me...

In addition they are good money games that I think we can keep respectable. Sure you could get paid more playing an SEC powerhouse but i think that demoralizes your team

Is that UNCC game set in stone? If so, that's gonna be a HUGE game in the QC! With G'boro only 1 hr away and the large alumni in the city, it's gonna be a zoo!

Here is a little more clarification on future FBS games...EXCERPT from the Greensboro News-Record (9/16/15): www.greensboro.com/blogs/sports_extra/more-guarantee-games-in-a-t-s-future-as-elon/article_4cd16763-519b-5409-8165-8e89f5ca2e05.html "...The bottom line is, well, the bottom line. “The money,” A&T athletics director Earl Hilton said, “is always an ever-present consideration.” North Carolina paid A&T a $300,000 guarantee to play in Chapel Hill. And next year, the Aggies won’t finish their four-year series against Elon, opting out of that game to take on a pair of FBS opponents on the road in September. A&T will get $330,000 to play at Kent State and $325,000 to play at Tulsa. The game against the Golden Hurricane in Tulsa replaced the Elon game on A&T’s schedule. It happened because ESPN wanted to switch some matchups for TV, a deal involving Brigham Young, Tulsa, Akron and A&T. “So Tulsa is paying us part of the guarantee and BYU is paying us part,” Hilton said. “(ESPN) asked if we were interested in making that work and I said, ‘Sure, we’d be happy to.’ But that meant we had to postpone the final game of our series with Elon.” Elon agreed to opt out of the scheduled game at Aggie Stadium. Instead, the Phoenix will play a home game against Division II Fayetteville State. “We like playing Elon, and we hope to get the home game back down the road and close this four-game series out,” Hilton said. “Elon seems receptive to that, but they’re booked out for the next three or four years, so it will be probably 2019 before we can talk about it.” In the meantime, A&T will play five FBS opponents in four years: Carolina this year, Kent State and Tulsa in 2016, followed by games at UNC-Charlotte and East Carolina in 2017 and 2018..."

Great job to the athletic department. Now to shore up this Labor Day contest and find us someone to play annually in Aggie Stadium

I think the cost of going to Tulsa will really eat into the guarantee. JMHO...
