Let's not sleep on Shaw. They upset UNCP last season and have plenty of juco's and D-I transfers on their team. It's a game we should win but perhaps could be closer than many of us think.

Special teams will play a big part in the first two games. I see a block punt and a punt return for touchdowns in the Shaw game.

I agree with Bluehaze...the Shaw game will not be a contest. I'm sure Coach Broadway will use this game to work on getting the new players oriented on what college football is all about. I'm sure he'll protect the starters as much as possible and run up a big score early and then rest the horses. We'll look rusty the first quarter but they'll get it together and start packing on the beatdown.
To me the Shaw game is the first time we get to test drive the new offense. It will probably sputter early but then it will get on track.

Lol, I remember we were a 24 pt underdog to App State a couple years ago.

Deck...we know what that 24 points against App State was all about...and it had nothing to do with football. By the way, isn't Broadway still coaching this team? He still has a bitter taste in his mouth from being pimped slapped by NCCU last year. I think he's on a mission this year...to be the undisputed MEAC Champ! And I don't see Shaw pulling off an upset.
