The definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over and getting the same results! Look it's not like we are leaving D 1 and also we still have the opportunity to play so-called money game's as long as they are available. I look at this as an opportunity to not only get exposer on a national level but to also build a more financially stable program. and yes we should play Winston Salem State and any other black institution that we have a significant rivalry with. this is about generating revenue something that the playoffs and failed to do.

Buyer beware!
Most bowl teams lose money, unless the conference steps in and covers the shortage !!!
Why should we believe this Celebration crap is going to be different?

Dex : I'm for the playoffs to but something hasto change. I thing by trying something different it my just open doors for us to find better recruits and be able to generate a more stable revenue flow. Who knows with the out come my be but I do know this ! That if the HBCU does not support this bowl it will be just another failed project. Now if we show support for the bowl it my open up opportunities for sponsorship and advertising. so I'm for anything that will open the door for not only A&T but for all the HBCU's.

We've put in a lot of time, money and effort into being included in Division One... why give up now??? In our history in this country, we've gone from slavery-to-sharecropping-to-ownership. Now, in athletics, we've gone back to segregation...and we did it to ourselves.

And I see that Mills didn't bother to ask Broadway how he felt about this sad turn of events.

I'm surprised and disappointed by Hilton's quote.

This is one game on National TV that gives both conferences much needed EXPOSURE. A free three hour commercial on TV and we are complaining. How did those playoff trips that nobody watched help market and brand SCSU? Enrollment is declining for the majority of HBCUs. Kids don't know about us and we want to just keep on with the same status quo. Y'all are making way too much out of game that history says we'll only participate in once every 10 years or so...

Oh we're excited are we.
And I agree , since we have no AQ, lets go ahead and sign the home and home with WSSU and find us a CIAA opponent to play every yr for Labor Day.
There is no reason whatsoever to schedule other legit FCS teams from other conferences. Play the cupcakes and prepare for MEAC play

It is segregation...... We have segregated ourselves from the FCS national title chase. Our kids are playing for a MEAC title and a celebration bowl title. They have no chance to compete with the other FCS schools for the national title. The reason i'm upset cause in my mind it makes us look as if we aren't good enough and have to create something to win. Why are spending money on facilities if not to compete with teams on the FCS level? Why are we spending money on top coaches if we aren't going to be competing with all of FCS. It makes no sense to make this huge push to be competitive and now we are regulated to just the MEAC. I say if we are going to truly embrace this, Then it should be done across the board in all sports. There should be a HBCU Division playoff in basketball, baseball, volleyball, etc. It makes no sense to me to compete for a national championship in those sports and not football

Stop complaining and support it...You guys chose to go to A&T which is all black..that's segregated correct? We want to be like the white schools but don't give like the white schools...that is the NUMBER 1 PROBLEM...I guarantee 95% of college football teams in the Power Five conferences KNOW they have no chance at winning a national title...their number one goal is to go to a bowl game...you guys won't support this game but im almost 100% sure all of yall watch the Peach and Outback and Rose bowls every single year....So yall support those bowls but wont support your own...TYPICAL N***AS.....

This deal stinks to High Heaven... I'm with you Rattler, I say go for it and see what happens. it's really up to us the fans if this bowl succeeds fails! If it fails it only shows the establishment that HBCU schools have a non interested fan base. I hope that the bowl succeeds! Because weather we know it or not other FCS schools and conferences will be watching us! I agree with this. Not the "stink" part, but Its up to the fans of the schools that participate. We can sit at home or we can come to the game. If we sit at home then we cant blame them for canceling the thing in 3 years. Whats going to be frustrating for me is to watch 2 teams make it whos fan base is already sub-par. That would be a disaster in the first year. If A&T makes it I'll be there.
