Yeah, lets call it the "Slow As @#@#" Hall, LOL. Man I couldn't resist, LOL. You know I love you oldschool haha. hey monster, true dat i didn't have nowhere near dez lawrence speed, yet i wasn't slow either. but my main thing was jumping, i could "skywalk" with the best of them! at 5'10" tall, i could slam dunk with the best of them too! 1 hand, 2 hands, tommy hawk, all dat! (of course, oleschool can't do that no more) but that's how i earned my track scholarship at a&t, i placed 3rd in the "state finals" in the triple jump and back in my day, the state of north carolina "combined" all of the classifications (4a, 3a, 2a/1a) into one for sectional, regional, and state championships. so i take pride in knowing i was the 3rd best triple jumper in the "entire" state of north carolina when i was in high school... Former triple and high jump man myself. I was just messing with you man. You were before even my time, but I heard about the New Bern "legend".

I don't believe this new building will house the locker rooms . From what I saw of the plans it will consolidate all of the athletic admin offices . AD 2013 interview Lastly, are there any future facility upgrades or renovations that fans should be aware of? Earl Hilton: “One of the things that I expect to happen in the next 8 to 10 years is that I want to create an athletic administrative office built in the horseshoe area of Aggie Stadium. I want it dug into the hill and sit three of four stories off the ground. The first two stories will be behind the stadium and the third and fourth will be above the back of the stadium where you can watch the game. That would create more leasable space, space for the Aggie Athletic Foundation and also some event space for games. So you would have the sky box over there with the suites, and you’d have the athletics building in the endzone which locker rooms, coaches offices, classrooms, training facilities and some vending space, and then on the top floors you might have some AAF space and development space where people could watch the games. That’s my number one objective right now in terms of big projects.”

I know this renovation is years away but here's a fundraising idea. When the Carolina Panthers opened their new stadium, the original PSL owner's names were carved in granite slabs at the entrances. That was am extra incentive for fans to become an early PSL owner. If/when we build the new stadium entrance, I hope they will do the same.
One more idea, this new facility should house A&T's athletic museum and Hall of Fame. A nice facility where fans young and old can visit and learn about A&T's great athletic history and players in all sports.

Two good ideas...especially the one about housing an Aggie Athletics Museum and the Hall of Fame.
