The qb coach, not the qb coach/oc/whatever the hell else he's underpaid to do that isn't listed. Aahhmm no Coach can argue that they are underpaid when the team is losing, he can’t justify his poor body of work , to a lack of money and expect to get a raise, so we might as well go a different direction!

What’s his salary vs his contemporaries in the conference? Is his salary commensurate with his responsibilities?
Who you gonna get that could do ANY better with those responsibilities for that meager price?
Don’t lose sight of the forest for the trees.

Step up and pay a more experienced, OC, keep Barnette as QB Coach only! Barnette played and shined in a pass heavy offense. Washington has a year left odds are good he’s not moving on but he’s in a win or else square maybe he’ll consider giving back $50k to hire a better OC, win big next season and get it back in the renew! Hilton’s position should be how bad do you want the job, We would not struggle to get a new Head Coach, with our profile!

We truly are a "what have you done for me lately?" fan base. Forget that Barnette's offense averaged 30 ppg in 2018 and 38 ppg and over 400 ypg in 2019.
Now after a season filled with injuries he's all of a sudden unqualified? Smdh!!

Hell even at Pop Warner if you don't win you get replaced 😆 I truly appreciate and respect what Barnette did in 2018 and 2019 don't get me wrong. But you can't give people sugar and turn around and give them S****it and then wonder why they want you Head . His inconsistencies in play calling was to obvious to be overlooked even by the none football fan's .

In the conference offensive statistics we were: 8th in scoring 8th in total yds/gm 6th in rushing yds/gm 8th in passing yds/gm 9th in passing efficiency 6th in sacks allowed 8th in first downs 7th in 3rd down conversions 9th in 4th down conversions 8th in penalties 8th in red zone offense Explain how all of these are due to injuries alone. You can't.

Were we any less single minded in play calling or playing time? If every team we played this year was as bad as NCCU or SC State we could have gone undefeated but that says nothing about the quality of our staff.

How about the quality of the team and their talent? The coaches are not on field, the players are. They get NO blame in this! This staff has won championships and put players into the PROs. They give you a game plan and plays, it's up the players to execute things. They didn't get it done on a consistent basis. Therefore, you end up with a season like this!

I'm curious, if coaches get no blame, they can't get any credit, what are coaches responsible for?

The failure to be able to adjust and overcome is on the coaches, how do you blame poor play calling, lack of discipline, poor fundamentals all on the players? These problems are not new to the 2021 season they were a problem in the meac as well that’s why we got lucky and won in 2018 and 19. Now yes to a degree certain players decisions hurt us but at the end of the day it’s on the coaches to display and field a effective, efficient, good ball playing program.
