We will graduate 800 more new Aggies tomorrow morning at the Greensboro Coliseum. Congrats to all the students of the class of Fall 2014.

800 more A&T Alumni...wow! Let's hope that a large percentage of them will "do the right thing" and give financial support back to A&T. When I left A&T all I was thinking about was how I could survive and support my family. It wasn't until my mid-30's that I started to appreciate how my degree from A&T had contributed so much to my success. That's when I started giving back. And even then it was just small donations.
I think the key to getting more recent graduating alumni to support A&T is to get them around other A&T alumni that are willing to "share the story about why it's important to give." I talk about the struggles of all HBCU's and how A&T is successfully dealing with that challenge. And I encourage them to give anything on a regular basis. A lot ignore my comments but some give.
