i maintain that we loss in durham because the team from durham had more incentive to win that game than we did and to me, that was a very big factor in that game. “psychologically”, the team from durham had more to play for than we did. if they’d loss that game, they wouldn’t have had jack to show for it. whereas, our guys knew going into that game we would still get a share of the meac championship even if we loss the game.
now, don’t get me wrong, i’m not saying our guys had nothing to play for because of course they did. but the team from durham had more to play for than we did and it showed. one of the most difficult tasks in coaching is to prepare your guys “psychologically” for every game. indeed our guys played hard, but not with the same level of “urgency” that the team from durham did.
we didn’t match the team from durham’s intensity level, point blank. and i can’t really blame our coaches nor our players because its very difficult to overcome a psychological disadvantage. i mean, this is the same team that we blanked 28-0 last year in aggie stadium...

Alot of factors played into the game. When we scored first it seemed like the team thought they had it made then, lost the momentum and the 2Nd and 3rd quarters were all Eagles. Then we fought through their momentum and scored to cut the lead to 7. Then when we got it again the momentum was beginning to flip to our side and we fumbled. Had we scored I believe we on to win because rhe momentum would've been with us. My peeps believe it would've gone to overtime but, I don't care. They wouldn't have stopped us in overtime. They knew it too.

Spring practice cranks up in about 2-3 weeks. Last year is done. With this year's squad and staff, NCCU has long been circled on the calendar.

Aggie One, I agree. I really didn't expect to win it all last year so I was pleasantly surprised that we did so well. I thought 2015 was going going to be our year so I'm ready. Bring on spring ball and the start of season. And yes I do have the whole weekend circled when we play NCCU.

I disagree that we didn't have nothing to play for and that they had more incentive to win than we did. That is a bunch of psychological crap. If we did not have nothing to play for what the hell did we go down to Durham for. We had the outright championship to play for and that is a lot more incentive than to just play for a 4 or 5 way tie.
We lost the game because they out hustled us and played harder. When we scored first and then came back and missed that easy a_ _ field goal the whole momentum changed. Bad play calling also killed us too. Our coach may have been out coached also.

Aggies just didn't execute well that day! I saw the week before, in Savannah, and knew if we play like we did then, we were going to get beat. And, we did!

The future is bright. Broadway is turning Aggie Football into something special. He really is. After the announcement of this year's recruits I took a look at the current roster and filled in the new kids, and we will be deep at every position. The DL will be deeper and bigger, and WR bunch is ridiculously deep and talented. We will have threats deep on every play and that will back defenses up to allow Cohen & Cartwright to do damage. As long as we have consistent QB play, I don't for see us tapering off like last year.

I was at that game also , and I said the same thing . We struggled early in that game against an inferior team , Broadway was livid on the sidelines .
