I'm mad and disgusted AND I definitely cannot be trusted! Mama just talked me outta going postal. Wow wee man this hurts. But...........................
Ok going forward:
We have 6 seniors that will not be back next year. Grant, especially, will be missed. OL Robinson has been an anchor on the line during his time in Aggieland and he will be sorely missed.
What do we do now? First of all, even though we were 9-3 for the year we were terribly inconsistent all season. Point in fact, We played our best game of the season against Morgan (45-0) and then the following week against Savannah St. (0-12) we lay an egg 1st half and finally pulled away from them. The game yesterday needs no explanation I am sure. I think the Coastal game was a close 2nd as far as it being the best game for us. Then we play an (1-11) Elon game and barely squeak out a 17-12 victory.
Alright realistically speaking, In our conference we had 1 win against a 0-12 team, a 2-10 team, (2) 3-9 teams, a 5-7 team, and (1) 7-5 team. Non conference we won against a 1-11 team (Elon), 2-8 (Chowan), and 4-8 (Ala. A&M). So in essence, we only beat (1) ONE team with a WINNING record this year. What that tells me is that we can beat down the chumps but we still have a looooooooong way to go to run with quality teams. Some on here will be in denial but, overall, we are a very average team in a below average football conference.
The "Funkster" himself has really picked up our program in 4 years but we have soooooooo far to go to make outta the "Negro" leagues. It's gonna take some years to come to really get on the good foot.

With NSU & BCU returning to the schedule next year I'm sure we'll have some better challenges. With one game @unc & another with Elon. I'm looking forward to the next recruiting class. Hopefully we can get bigger on the oline. I hope Bustle can install some power running formations. Power-I, Strong-I, etc

I am to disappointed to think clearly at the moment but there are two things that I like to mention 1st To think all the Aggies that played their last game in the Blue and Gold AGGIE PRIDE 2ND Hopefully we will evaluate each position and let the best player play from QB to CB And one last thing to #28 you the reason we had the opportunity to make the playoffs and your fumble some will say ended the season and I know that you have a burning pain inside you but best thing you can do is to in my opinion is to harness the pain keep it burning in side you each practice each game til November 2016 when you return to that little rat hole and and

Next year, we will be in the hunt for the Conference Championship, a playoff seed and the National Title.

Most of us that have followed A&T football knew we had come a long way under Coach Broadway and we though that we were very close to having a championship team. And as this year unfolded, we got really excited because we thought this was the year. Well the game against NCCU showed us that we had some more work to do. But that's okay because we have the coaching staff and the players in place now that will get us that championship and more importantly make us very competitive in the playoff. So to all of the players, coaches and my Aggie football fans with or without cowbells, I say great season and I can't wait until next season. I have already circled Saturday NOVEMBER 21, 2015 on my calendar and counting down the days. I'm looking forward to them Durham Buzzards coming to our house for a little Aggie payback!

Concerning next season's schedule, didn't we sign a contract with UNC-Charlotte?? I swear that I read that somewhere...either here or somewhere on UNCC's end. Can anyone confirm that either way?

We are playing UNC-Chapel Hill, not UNCC next year, as far as I know. Right now, we may have Coastal Carolina again in SC and Chapel Hill. Since we are back to the 11-game schedule, Mr. Hilton is probably looking for a home game. I would hope we schedule a SoCon, another Big South team or a Colonial team but we may book a Div-2 squad if we need a home game.

Charlotte's 2015 OOC opponents for their inaugural season in FBS so far are: Kentucky, Georgia State, Presbyterian (FCS) and Temple. Again, I don't think AD Hilton will agree to all three of our OOC games being on the road unless the money is right. Meanwhile, SC State has released a tentative football schedule for 2015. Unless there is a change, they will host us Aggies during the first week in November. It's interesting to me that both NC Central & Morgan State have rotated off of their schedule - two teams that beat them this year. thetandd.com/sports/bulldogzone/s-c-state-can-throw-meac-race-into-chaos/article_5041f9fe-580a-11e4-b1e6-c709a55ad103.htmlTENTATIVE 2015 S.C. STATE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE SEPT. 5 - Southern (MEAC/SWAC Challenge) SEPT. 12 - COASTAL CAROLINA SEPT. 19 - FLORIDA A&M SEPT. 26 - Open OCT. 3 - at Furman OCT. 10 - at Bethune-Cookman OCT. 17 - HOWARD OCT. 24 - at Delaware State OCT. 31 - HAMPTON NOV. 7 - NORTH CAROLINA A&T NOV. 14 - at Norfolk State NOV. 21 - at Savannah State

That contract is up and Broadway didn't seem enthused about renewing it.

If A&T and Alcorn are like anything next year as they were this year that would be a pretty decent game!

Delaware and Morgan rotate off while Bethune and Norfolk rotate on to our conference schedule. We are looking for one home game. FCS Campbell is one name on a short list of possibilities for that one home game and possibly an old but not often seen rival might be revisited. I'll wait and see like everyone else.
In any event the schedule will be much tougher in '15 and leave it at that.
