www.brevardfootball.net/Brevard College's leading rusher in 2006, Tyrone Arrington (SW Onslow) has transferred to N.C. A&T. The 5-10, 175 junior (4.36 forty) rushed for 459 yards and seven TDs and and was the team's fourth leading receiver with 8 catches and two scores. I wonder will we see this 4.36-forty speed on the field this season? It sure seems like we have a lot runningbacks and slotbacks?

He should not have to sit out a season; Brevard is a DII (maybe DIII) school I believe. And if that is the case he will not have to sit out to move up a level. Also don't assume this guy is that great coming from a smaller school. Remember we have some D1 transfers that don't even meet expectations when they get here.

Don't forget Brandon Sweetney transferred from a D-II school and was great before he ruptured his kidney

Didn't Brandon Sweeny have to sit out a year before he could play, since he was moving up from DII to DI?

I was thinking the same thing. I think Damian Phillips had to sit out a year before he came from Central too.

Damian Phillips did sat out one year but he was allowed to practice with the team the year he sat out.

This guy sounds good coming from Brevard but come on now. Look at Brevards W/L record too. I am not knocking the kid with numbers like that, my hat is off to him. But moving from DII to DI, he will be sitting for the year. He can practice, but he won't see none of that fire until 2009. Too bad he won't be ready for the first game against JCSU!

(But moving from DII to DI, he will be sitting for the year) I thought that you could go up one division or go down one you can play the next year?
