Who gets the game ball for the Delaware State game?
My vote goes to our kicker, Cody Jones, who made all four of his field goals, all three of his extra points and punted four times for an average of 53.2 yards. WOW, what a game!!!

That is impressive. probably the best kicking performance by an aggie kicker in decades.

Yonnick Matthews kicked 5 fg ( he did not punt) was the best performance I have seem in person by any kicker. The punter against ASU last year was the best by a punter

I remember when Yonnick did that. The Elon game. They lined him up for a fifty something yard kick and I was yelling profanities at the coaching staff...
Then he made the kick. Then he made four more.
But he ain't punt. And he ain't do it at Del State, where the wind is atrocious.
Another kicking performance that stands out would be Wallace Miles leading the team in receiving every week and then kicking extra points.
But Cody owned it to me. Them kicks and punts in that place really won the game.

I'd still have to rank Yonnicks performance #1 because if I'm not mistaken 2 of his kicks were over 50 yards. Of course the biggest kick in Aggie football history still goes to Carlos Davalos who hit the 51 yard game winner vs NCCU.

Decks,
It was also the beginning of the decline in the program as well.

True point Gator, but we can't blame that on Davalos.
Interestingly enough, it was also the beginning of the rise of NCCU's program. Glad that's over, lol!
