Impressive win today, but I don't think we have played our best ball. A lot of break downs with the D backs (may have been coaching scheme), missed throws by Quick, missed opportunities to recover fumbles. Felt like we should have scored 60.
I agree naborhoodsupertstar, with a bye week, I really think we can be scary good!

Good win. I was scared when FAMU had thought they scored on the punt return in the 3rd quarter Quick and Keyes were the difference.

When you play well enough to win by three TDs despite mistakes against a talented team like FAMU, it tells you this team can only get a whole lot better in these last three games. We have a extra week to rest everyone and prepare for Morgan. Next week is elimination week in the MEAC.
We're a half game up on everyone right now but someone will indeed fall by the wayside next week - NCCU vs BCU in Daytona is huge. Norfolk at FAMU and Morgan at Hampton. All these games next weekend will have a direct bearing on the MEAC race.

It won't surprise me at all if NCCU knocks off BCU next with their spread/air-raid offense. Luckily for the Buddy Poughs.... they get Savannah State at home. But SCSU does have to go on the road against FAMU and Morgan State in back-to-back weeks... We just need to continue to get healthy and be very ready for Morgan State on November 8th.

Clearly Quick's best game as our starting QB, and this takes into account him missing some of his WRs on touch passes and him fumbling the ball in the end zone. He made Keyes the lethal weapon many thought he would be. Cohen had a solid (not spectacular) game....WHICH IS ACTUALLY A BLESSING. The more diverse we are on offense, the better. We haven't even hit on full cylinders yet, but I truly believe we're the best team in the conference. We have 2 weeks to break Morgan down, which is huge. I still see us going 10-2, with a playoff bid in view. We just need to keep getting better, week to week. Once again, our team handles business on homecoming. Broadway takes homecoming games very seriously. Well stated. That Stop and go with Keyes was well executed with a perfectly thrown pass. Previous games, that pass would've gone 5 yards long or short.

Keyes went beast mode today! I was a little surprised at how he pulled away from the db on that 73 yard td.

The scary thing about Keyes is that he's just a sophomore...once he really learns the route and nuances, dude will be awesome...

Those FAM fans are arrogant.....it is clear earl Holmes is over his head.....he is not cuttng it!
No one goes for it on 4th and 1 on your own 30 yd line.
A&t had a chance to put 50+ pts on those dudes....we left points on the field.
A 100% Quick plus all the weapons we have makes our offense unbelievably good....
Happy GHOE! i wasn't there this year but wil next year, God willing!
