I know this is a time for us to enjoy our victory but SCSU and Bethune are playing. Listening to the game and SCSU had the ball with about a minute left in the 4th quarter and ahead 14-7. Bethune has 0 timeouts and SCSU comes out and fumbles, Bethune picks it up and runs it in for a touchdown a la Miracle in the Meadowlands. So now the game is tied 14-14 with less than a minute and SCSU has the ball

SCSU scores on the first play but gets the extra point blocked. 20-14 SCSU with 33 seconds left

I’m not sure if there is a human element when selecting the at-large teams but us having to start a true freshman in the SC State loss should carry some weight on their decision. Also, I commend Klugh for directing the last two wins but I don’t think we will be able to blow out an opponent by “forcing our will” without Quick at the helm. Now, we could very well win by 3+ or more touchdowns but it would be because FAMU can’t stop Cohen at all….or bubble screens. Quite simply, a 100% healthy Quick forces a defense to defend two excellent runners instead of focusing on one...and they really had no idea what Quick was going to do. Then the boy started passing better. Throw in a couple of track stars at WR and our offense was on the edge of exploding before Quick went down. Indeed Broadway and Bustle used Chowan to practice the 4 receiver set and that’s the same O-set they started against Howard. If Klugh can handle FAMU, and we should know by halftime if he can, then I’d rather stick with Klugh, then bring in the 100% healthy Quick for the final three games. The final 3 games need to be complete and utter destruction in order to raise the eyebrows needed. The lickin' that Villanova will lay on Morgan this weekend…we need to approach that…not necessarily do as good as Nova but at least handle them well to make it in the playoffs. Just my thoughts. Great observations and thoughts but I think if Quick is close to healthy for FAMU, he will not only play but probably start. That's a tendency of Broadway….. Quick was close to healthy and managed the game well….think being somewhat immobile caused him to work/focus on his passing game. He missed some wide open throws today due to rustiness, I am sure! Maybe in two weeks he will be closer to 100% but overall he played extremely well today!

Darn good win....Quick looked very good...especially his repoire with Keyes...the defense got it together... It looks like observing from the sidelines has served Quick well. We really can run the table with Quick at QB.
The SCSU win may be a blessing in disguise...if SCSU loses another game...we'll see...

I had to sit on the railings. I never saw Aggie Stadium that packed before. Had to be over 21,500 in there.

Quick's timing was off on some of his throws but he ran extremely well . We left at least 2 scores on the field ,but I'm very pleased with the win .

Clearly Quick's best game as our starting QB, and this takes into account him missing some of his WRs on touch passes and him fumbling the ball in the end zone. He made Keyes the lethal weapon many thought he would be. Cohen had a solid (not spectacular) game....WHICH IS ACTUALLY A BLESSING. The more diverse we are on offense, the better.
We haven't even hit on full cylinders yet, but I truly believe we're the best team in the conference. We have 2 weeks to break Morgan down, which is huge.
I still see us going 10-2, with a playoff bid in view. We just need to keep getting better, week to week. Once again, our team handles business on homecoming. Broadway takes homecoming games very seriously.
