Going back,to 1999 we usually beat FAMU when we have a good team, especially when we have a good running game. I think we handle this one pretty easily if we're focused.

Jump on these guy early. Those back to back bus ride will play a toll on them. Fleming is a decent QB if he get time. Plus the WRs from FAMU will not drop balls like Howard.

I thought Fleming got hurt against Howard. Also, they will do like everyone else, try and stop the run first (stack the box) and make the Freshman beat them in the air.

Last ten games. Year | W/L | AGGIES | RATTLERS | LOCATION | 2003 | W | 22 | 16 | Greensboro | 2005 | L | 14 | 24 | Tallahassee | 2006 | L | 12 | 45 | Greensboro | 2007 | L | 21 | 24 | Tallahassee | 2008 | L | 7 | 45 | Greensboro | 2009 | L | 27 | 31 | Tallahassee | 2010 | L | 19 | 22 | Greensboro | 2011 | L | 20 | 26 | Tallahassee | 2012 | W | 16 | 3 | Greensboro | 2013 | W | 20 | 13 | Tallahassee |
Last year T. Cohen had 231 yards rushing against FAMU and L. Kindle was 4-13-1 for 18 yards and no TDs in a game that we almost let slip away. I don't expect Cohen to repeat another feat of strength like last year, but I don't see FAMU shutting him down either. Nor do I expect that type of QB performance. This team is better than last year. I'm not so sure I can say that about FAMU. Back to back road trips from FL can't be easy. They probably flew to DC last week, but this week I bet they are traveling by bus, especially if they're hauling the 100 up and down the road again. well, we all know what aggie football was about from 2006 until coach broadway arrived in 2010. that's the stretch of aggie football that was "tarnished" by the fobbs era. everybody on our schedule beat us during that horrible era...

i agree with decks, this game really boils down to ourselves. if we remain focused and don't take famu lightly, we're gonna blow famu out. i swear, i honestly don't think there's a team in the meac that can stop our offense "if we're healthy", including bcu and scsu.
this game and every game left on our schedule will depend on our focus if new injuries don't get in the way. we can't afford to look pass anybody, including famu. its gonna be a "packed house"! one big early touchdown play from our guys could set the tone for the entire game...

FAMU vs JSU 17 - 22 (L) FAMU vs Miami 7 - 41 (L) FAMU vs Coastal 3 - 48 (L) FAMU vs Tenn St 7 - 27 (L) FAMU vs Morgan 9 - 24 (L) FAMU vs Sav St 24 - 14 (W) FAMU vs Howard 31 - 28 (W)
FAMU just isn't that good so don't be fooled by a two game winning streak against two of the worse teams in fcs. They haven't even scored in double digits against any decent defense they've faced this season. The sad thing is they didn't even dominate SSU and Howard.

But even a bad team with confidence is dangerous. All of a sudden, they have a little confidence. Piggybacking off of what OSA said, we have to remain FOCUSED and put them away EARLY...and not let up until the final gun.

The team needs to go into the game like its do or die time! Play as if they're playing the top team in the conference.

Those rattlers are talking a lot of junk of MFZ....this is not a typical Aggie FB team from what most are used to seeing.
These rattlers are just as arrogant as when Billie joe was there....we will take the bite out of these fangs Saturday!

Hey they think their team has turned the corner now that they have won two straight games. Never mind that they beat the two worst teams in the MEAC next to FAMU. And somehow they think that if their band shows up that will somehow give them the edge to beat us on our Homecoming.
Well I hate to rain on the Rattlers parade but it's going to take more than a bunch of marchers dressed in Halloween outfits to beat us. We're on mission this season and we're not going to let them stop us. So they can talk all the smack they want but we're staying focused.

A win in Greensboro would put Rattlers near top of MEACJordan Culver, Tallahassee Democrat 4:36 p.m. EDT October 23, 2014Complete ArticleA two-win streak over teams with a combined 1-14 record is one thing, but Florida A&M head coach Earl Holmes knows taking down one of the top teams in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference could change the narrative of the Rattlers’ entire season. The Rattlers (2-5, 2-1 in the MEAC) will take on the North Carolina A&T Aggies (6-2, 3-1) Saturday in Greensboro, N.C. Florida A&M is coming off two straight wins for the first time in Holmes’ tenure as head coach, and a third straight win would put FAMU near the top of the MEAC. It would also help erase an 0-5 start that had Holmes shifting coaching personnel around and contemplating a quarterback change. Rattlers' defense preps for No. 2 MEAC rushing threatJordan Culver, Tallahassee Democrat 11:33 a.m. EDT October 22, 2014 Complete ArticleAnyone on Florida A&M's defense who played in the team's 20-13 overtime loss to North Carolina A&T last season knows the first — and probably biggest — step in defeating the Aggies is to bottle up sophomore running back Tarik Cohen. After playing against Cohen last year — in a game where Cohen scored all three of the Aggies' touchdowns — junior linebacker Akil Blount said getting all 11 defenders to wherever Cohen is on the field is essential to continuing the Rattlers' current win streak.
