Quick's best game was vs Howard (winless in the MEAC) Klugh's best game was vs Hampton (winless in the MEAC) I agree Klugh's best game was against Hampton but IMO Quick's best game was against Coastal. Whereas he didn't have great passing stats in that game, his running, decision-making and overall leadership were outstanding and he did all that against a great FCS opponent who is still undefeated.

I would agree that a win is a win and yes I will take it. We all had better hope that this team never falls behind by more than 10 points because BUBBLE passes will not get you back into the game. A&T pays a OC to run a simple basic of b asics zone read offense with no creativity! The OC has not demonstrated any signs of developing a QB since he has been here. Let's be real even the Hampton game for Klough was smoke in mirrors out of 15 completions 13 were BUBBLE or passes to the backs on swing routes. The OC has done nothing to develop a true passing game. Quick has no pocket presence and that is coachable! Klough is late on simple hitch or out routes that he throws and all of that is QB coaching!! It is all about FOOTWORK! Passing game? When your best pass play is a BUBBLE then something is really wrong. In fact the debate is whether or not a BUBBLE should be a considered a pass or run. Think about it leading receiver has about 26 catches with 20 BUBBLES!! After yesterday's game it looks like #81 is the next BUBBLE guy in line. It all goes back to no development from the OC. He is not developing the QB ' S or the passing game. Don't fall behind by 10 pts against a decent team A&T or we are done.

"Good Enough" football. That's Broadway's game plan this season. I think he's gone into every game knowing we had some player challenges and he's created a game plan that was good enough to win. I know the offense didn't play well yesterday and the defense had a melt down in the second half but hey, it was good enough to get a win. Now it's time to put together a game plan that's good enough to beat FAMU. Goes folks!

I don't normally do this....but some Aggies are never satisfied. When we were 0-11 or 1-10, then complain!
Most of the MEAC teams will be happy to be in our position....just saying!

Quick had a ways to go as a passer but his execution of the zone read option was outstanding and that's what made our offense click. Right now thats what we're missing more than anything else. Im with Groove on this and 1969. We used to loose games in many ways...by last min touchdowns, or by not closing the show while in the red zone. The team is doing what any team tries to do, get better. Now we are trying to learn how to close the show with a Freshman QB. We scored 33pts to help him. Per Coach “We’re pleased with the win but we’ve got to play better,”... “We’ll take as many wins as we can get – ugly, pretty or whatever. To turn the ball over in the situations we turned over today gets you beat on most days. We’ve got to get that corrected.” www.ncataggies.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=24500&ATCLID=209724298Im with Groove on this and 1969. Stop us and you may win. Otherwise we have to win any way we can. We are in 2nd place and it feels good.

The Aggie defense was dominate and the running game was very strong. The fieldgoal kicker had a very good day with 4 FGs. He kicked a 43 yard FG against the wind. One thing I noticed that makes me smile is how organized the team is on the sideline. I noticed no confusion on the Aggie sideline for the most part. Broadway has a good coaching staff.
No doubt there is a concern with the passing game especially when A&T has such a good running game that gets the attention of the defense. Del State played a disciplined defense and stayed in their designated area but I didn't see any exceptional athleticism from them.

Most of the MEAC teams will be happy to be in our position....just saying! .AG your right on point. I see it this way you fit the offence around the talent that you have, U fit the game plan to your talent and that is what Broadway and staff are doing with a young team. A&T is not a pass first team. A&T is a running team that passes when we need to. This is working for us we are winning and putting up 30 are so each game. But a few of us still have a problem/problems with the team. If it's not the players it's the coaching are something . Yes their are things that the team needs to work on and I feel that Broadway and staff will get them worked out. This is for the few let coach and his staff do their job and cut all this B-S .

The AGGIES are a year away from being a very dominate team. I personally think they are learning how to win and are creating a team identity. They are a work in progress and WINNING! What else do you want? AGGIE PRIDE!

Big picture.......I don't think any Aggie is sad we are 6-2. I don't think any Aggie believes our team is a finished product. I believe many Aggies feel the offense always leaves you yearning for more (going on 4 years now).
Personally, I think we can be a better team. I do think it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you leave 10-20 points on the field. We did this yesterday. I think any reasonable person can be happy with us being 6-2, but not pleased with how we played last night.
Aggie Satisfaction......satisfaction means different things to different people. Theoretically, if you're hungry, and you get fed a pitcher of cool-aid and a pack of saltine crackers, you won't be hungry anymore. Your hunger will be satisfied, but you may not be satisfied with how your hunger was handled.
We have a bunch of average teams left to play to finish the rest of our regular season. Even though the teams we will play are average, we need to play up to our capable level and not down to the opposition's level of play. I still see us making the playoffs at 10-2. We need to be consistently improving as we head into November......Our defense is already there; we have to do something about this offense - primarily our QB play.

Ah, bobbyjoe...we fell behind COASTAL 17-7. No, we did not win but, it wasn't due to the reasons you mention. They use the bubble screen to get the ball in the hands of the playmakers. Now, I will say we need to throw to Keyes at 5-7 times a game when the defense plays him one on one. Other than that, the gameplan is fine. I also think we have to stop being so pessimistic about everything. The game yesterday was in hand, we put second teamers in and we made mistakes. Remember the days in order for us to win a game, we couldn't make mistakes. ..remember those days? We had some DSU alums behind us, even when they scored thiselate tds, they aacknowledged that A&T was just flat out better, at least on yesterday. So, I'm encouraged. ...is there room for improvement, absolutely always! But we are trending up.

I love it when these new resident cynics pop up on this message board under the guise of "constructive criticism."
Never saw or heard from half these new folks between 2004-2011 or when this board first went up when we stunk on ice. For five of those horrible years we couldn't even line up straight let alone get out of our own way to even look like we might win a game.
But they wait a whole decade later, until we find the right people to rescue the disaster which was once A&T football, until we start having a little success on and off the field, and here they come crawling out of the nowhere to spew their dislike for this team and the coaching staff at every possible turn of what they "ought to be doing."
I share the same attitude about these type of posters as Nick Saban does about those "special" Alabama supporters.
"You really piss me off."

Our first winless season under Fobbs was in 2006. If you were 10-11 years old then, you theoretically could be a sophomore student at A&T right now. At 10-11 years old, you may not have even been exposed to grade school football yet. Aggie One, don't automatically assume everyone on this board is your age. A 21-22-yr old senior at A&T was 11-12 years old a decade ago.....hell, they probably weren't on boards like this 10 years ago....
We won the game yesterday vs Delaware State (good) We had 5 turnovers and gave up 20 points in the 4th qtr (bad)
Folks - there's simply no way anyone can be 100% satisfied or 100% unpleased with the game yesterday or overall. For those acting either way, I really question if you are comprehending what you're watching week to week, as it pertains to Aggie football.

Neither the stodginess and stubbornness that comes with age nor the absence of wisdom that accompanies youthful zeal can ever excuse boorishness.
